Great for Little Learners
The media could not be loaded. I love that this includes a guide for parents (or teachers), the practice book for the child, pencils, and a journal for additional practice! So many great tools for handwriting success.

Simple, straight forward writing practice
My daughter is 8, has ADHD, and has struggled a bit with the legibility of her handwriting. Handwriting Without Tears was suggested by a friend.The lessons are short and simple. We have been doing 3 lessons at a time. The lessons are helping to remind my daughter how to form the letters and the practice amount seems perfect for her attention span.The teacher guide references a website with more instructions, but it requires an email and a subscription fee in order to access those additional resources. I have not signed up or paid for those additional resources.Overall I would recommend this writing curriculum to others with children in early elementary years and especially to those with ADHD. The simple, structured, short lessons are exactly what I had been hoping for.

Highly recommend
Every child is different… just keep that in mind. My son is 8 and has been using this during his second grade year of homeschooling. He struggled to write since preschool. He COULD write but struggled. Handwriting Without Tears has changed everything this year! Something about this curriculum just “clicked” with him. He has been able to understand and utilize this handwriting program with ease. I’m so thankful for HWT!!

Did not receive pencils shown in product picture.
Overall, this program has been great for us. This is the first time I've bought the bundle and rest distributed to not receive the pencils shown in the picture. Everything else arrived and I look forward to using the instructor manual.

I use it for my daughter, she have autism.It's very easy for her tu use and she doesn't have any melt down doing the tracing.
