Q: Does this carrier bag protect the user from any of the heat made by the machine ? When i use the portable over-shoulder machine, it gets too hot!

I don't think the vac should ever put off so much heat that it concerns you. Since it does, I'd contact the manufacturer for a possible defect. I know these Hoovers inside and out having used them for over 20yrs - I've never had one get hot. The portable cover should, in my opinion, be used only as a convenience for carrying tools and the waiste strap.

Yes, it can hold all the attachments. I didn't put in the larger floor attachment but it could probably fit as well.

You roll it up and snap it in place at the handle. Works really well.

Q: I can't squeeze the waist strap clip to get it off. with effort, i can get it on, but i need help to take it off. anyone else have this problem?

I never used the waist straps I don't even have them attached to mine. I only use the shoulder strap.
