Bellroy Laptop Sleeve (13" Laptop, Water-Resistant Recycled Fabric, Magnetic Entry) - Midnight

Fits my 13” MacBook Pro perfectly. Nice looking case, too. Pretty good padding and the magnets work great.I own a lot of Bellroy gear and they are all made from premium materials. None have ever failed me yet. I love the aesthetic and all of their items (for me) are very functional.This one is pricey, but you get what you pay for. I’ll update if anything changes, but I expect to have this for a long time.

The sleeve not only looks great and is extremely good quality, it also fits the Macbook Air (M1, 2020) perfectly and the magnets are closed without an issue. Inserting or removing the laptop has never been easier. Highly Recommended!

Just what I was looking for in a laptop sleeve. The product is well made and the magnetic closure is very secure. My MacBook Pro fits perfectly in this sleeve.

I really like this laptop sleeve for my 2020 13” Macbook ProThe reason I bought this sleeve was for the horizontal magnetic closure.I wanted a sleeve that opened horizontally so that it would be easier to take my laptop in and out of my horizontal messenger/briefcase bag (I bought mine from tomtoc [ASIN: B07CMHS87Y]).The magnetic closure makes it even easier because I don’t have to fuss with a zipper, It opens and closes easily enough so that I don’t even have to take the sleeve out with the laptop.When the sleeve arrived, I noticed how great quality it was in the stitching, the magnet is very strong, and it is very well padded even though it has a very slim, sleek, minimal design.I use the sleeve as just added protection inside my tomtoc bag and also if I’m moving my laptop from one part of the house to another.The reason I’m so careful with my laptop is because it’s a $3,500 laptop so, I want all of the protection I can get on it.Speaking of protection, my laptop is encased in the Incase Hardshell Case and I have a Moft Foldable Laptop Stand attached to that.This makes my 13” MB Pro pretty bulky and so in the pictures I’ve included, you will see that the Bellroy Sleeve doesn’t close automatically and I have to really push the MacBook down to get a decent close on it.If the laptop for some reason is placed upside down with the sleeve opening facing down, the laptop will undoubtedly fall out.The laptop does NOT fall out at all when I shake the sleeve upside down with the naked laptop inside.With that being said, if you have no extra bull on your Macbook, you should be fine.Also, there are two open slits on the bottom of the sleeve. I don’t know why but maybe you can charge your laptop through those slits? I’m not sure.My laptop, with all the added bulk, does not even touch the bottom of the sleeve.I’ve included pictures of how the magnets close when the sleeve is empty, when the sleeve has my laptop in it with the case and stand, and also when the laptop is naked.You can see everything I talked about in this review, in the pics and decide for yourself if you would like to purchase the sleeve.

Honestly I can see people paying thousands on this if they put a Vercase or Louis Vuitton logo on it 🤣

Huge fan of Bellroy leather products so I wanted to test our their laptop sleeves. I absolutely love it. Super slim, modern design with a high quality feel.The top has a magnetic clasp that’s lets you use it with one hand if needed. My Mac 13” fits inside it perfect and it’s very snug with no sliding around.The material is always water resistant and it comes with a 3 year warranty. Highly recommend!

Though this is a handsome case, well made, with the clever magnetic closure at the top, it doesn't close. I've got an open gap all the way across; that magnet isn't near closing. My laptop could fall out or stuff could get in. May close on an actual 13" laptop but not on my new13.3" MacBook Air.
