Does the nozzle attachment stay in a fixed position when on the hairdryer, or does it spin/turn easily?

The first thing I did was remove the nozzle. It came off very easily. If you want to leave it on, then it stays on firmly and can be swivelled.

Is the cold shot button momentary or latching? I often like drying my hair with cold air and do not wish to hold onto the button whilst doing that.

You have to hold onto the button if you want it to continue while styling. It’s not cold air, just slightly cooler.

Does it come with a plug suitable for UK switch boards? Or one needs to use a converter?

It is fitted with a normal 3pin British plug suitable for use in any UK home. You would only need a converter plug if you were using in abroad. Eg Europe or USA.
