I use hot glue in my woodshop to temporarily fasten things while gluing up for permanent use. The hobby glue guns just don't cut it. They are so slow to warm up, and they can't heat the volume of glue I want when I want it.This works. I like the ability to separate the gun from the cord for a minute or so. It makes it much more easy to use.

This hot glue gun, which is my second, is perfect. I was given one as a gift for my classroom and ended up buying one for my home. It heats up quickly, glues the items you are wanting to glue all while being unattached from the base and cord. I LOVE it.

great glue gun!, (have gun will travel) - don't really use the unplugged feature, (and there is only the "hot" mode) - but what's the best is that it doesn't keep spitting out glue when not in use!!! - (fyi: seems like many of the diy-ers use this brand), and now I can see why! ;)

This glue gun heats up quickly and hasn’t clogged on me once, which is a huge plus. The cordless feature makes it really convenient for crafts and DIY projects. It gives a steady flow of glue and works exactly how you’d want it to.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it takes two hands to remove it from the base, which can be a little awkward during use. I also wish it could stand on its own while still plugged in—having that option would make it even more user-friendly.Still, overall it’s a great product and I’d definitely recommend it!
