Highly recommended
Excellent wear and traction, rain or shine. Excellent handling. One of my favorite tires.

Great sport touring tire for heavy bikes.
I really like the feel of this tire it rides like a soft compound tire when you push it but still has great treadwear.

Great value and that’s from a Goldwing owner
Us Goldwing owners like value. Well, ok some might say we’re even, uh, cheap. Hey, we just like a good value. Some things, like a motorcycle tire , are worth whatever they cost. I still like this tire the best for how I rider. That is two up, fully loaded with gear, for long distances, in all kinds of weather and road condition. It would be nice to get more than 7,000 miles out of a set but that is one season for me. Not the cheapest, or most expensive, hobby I suppose. Best trade off of performance, safety, and cost as I’ve experienced it.

Nice fat tire
Upsized rear tire on my 2009 V-Star 950 from 170/80-16 to help prevent frame and footrest drag when cornering. Love this tire. Great grip and solid feel. Many will exclaim horror and express distress over upsizing from stock tire on motorcycle. I also upsized the front tire (from 130 70 18 to 140 70 18). Used (double horror) a tire made for a rear position, mounted backwards, as front tire. Yup. 20K miles with this IMPROVED setup and zero problems handling, cornering, braking. Present setup is a major improvement. Rides better, no more footrest drag. No more associated horrid, hair raising, screeching of footrest on pavement when cornering. Even better, I now avoid the bike trying to ride on the frame in corners, so avoid this terribly dangerous and unsafe condition. Upsizing the front and rear tires raises the frame from the ground by about 1/2".

Does not like heat, will scallop because of it. Not suitable for extended 100+ MPH rides
I like the way it handles wet and loose conditions but very mediocre tire life and extended 100+ MPH rides will cause scalloping and/or cupping cutting tire longevity to about 5000 miles if you are lucky. I won't buy them again.
