This little router will beat a lot of much more expensive routes out there in terms of quality and functionality. I recommend this router to use for everyone who has at least a bit of understanding how routers works.

Great if a firmware update doesn't brick it
I bought this to configure it to connect to my phone's hotspot to provide an Internet connection to Ethernet devices in the field. With the first unit I purchased, I updated the firmware via the update feature in the Web interface and lost connection to it- I spent hours trying to recover it and was unsuccessful. Months later I purchased another one and this one updated fine. It takes almost a minute to boot and connect to my hotspot, but works great and has been a real lifesaver when there aren't any other options besides paying for a dedicated hotspot with a data plan. The Web interface is powerful but not for beginners, so if you don't have an intermediate/advanced understanding of networking there are more user-friendly options out there that will work just as well.
