Very good torch.
Incredibly well built and very bright torch, perfect to keep in the car for whatever situation you may need it in.the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that I think it could do with a tenner knocked off the price tag.

Great Product - Longevity Is Big Plus
After my 3C Modified (krypton glob to LED) Maglite gave up the ghost after 27 years, it was time to chase down another torch that operated from normal C/D size batteries. That said, a simple task I thought; not on your life. Every manufacture has resorted to scaling down the size of their torches with the use of rechargeable/high powered batteries, such as the CR123 and 18650. Lots power and heat; however, compared to the Maglite, very short run times. Don’t get me wrong, I love these powerful compact EDC torches, with OLight being one of favourite brands. Whilst in the field, camping or just out-and-about, it is much easier to replace three D-Size batteries than hunt down a power power-point/portable battery bank, and then wait for the rechargeable battery to be recharged. As expected from a well-known USA brand, the Maglite ML300LX LED 3-Cell D Flashlight delivers as promised, heaps of light and throw with the longevity that no other torch of similar specs can provide. I don’t know of any other brand of torch that will survive 27 years, even after a receiving a beating, or dishing it out. There was a review on YouTube that basically reviewed the whacking capabilities of multiple torches (it was very amusing), with the full-size Maglite being crowned as king. The way I look at it, if the there is a prowler about, grabbing a full-size Maglite is much better that crabbing a small torch. Thanks for reading, have a top day
