Renew your faith and spirit
God gave us specific instructions on how to live. The Ten Commandments .Jesus gave us once more specific and many instructions on how we have to conduct ourselves in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He said for example:"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose and the wind blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."So our doing here on earth ( the cause ) has a direct ( effect ) on and if we will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Yes we must earn our passage .As Christ stated, whatever we sow , we shall reap.If our doing here on earth bears no consequences then all of Christ's teachings would be in vain.Further:Jesus Himself taught reincarnation or "cyclical rebirth." In Matthew 11:14, for example, Jesus said, "And if you are willing to accept it, [John the Baptist] is the Elijah who was to come." Likewise, in John 3:3 Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."Although the Bible also contains other reincarnational passages, these Elijah-John passages constitute clear proof of reincarnation:1. The Old Testament prophesied that Elijah himself (not someone "like" him or someone "similar" to him, but Elijah himself) would return before the advent of the Messiah.2. Jesus declared that John the Baptist was Elijah who had returned, stating bluntly "Elijah has come".Those who refute this reincarnation connection say that John the Baptist merely came in the spirit and power of Elijah. However, this is a perfect description of reincarnation: the spirit and power. This is reincarnation - the reincarnation of the spirit. The Bible itself states that John the Baptist possessed the spirit that had previously lived in, and as, the man Elijah - not his physical being and memory, but his spirit. But Jesus knew better, and said so in the plainest words possible:"This is the one ... there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist.... And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. He who has ears, let him hear." (Matthew 11:11-15).

AWESOME book. Love it
AWESOME book. Love it. The book is inspirational, and makes great points you can use against some of the best arguments put up by atheists out there. It really does make intelligible points that I feel shoot down what many doubters, and non believers would try to say. Anyone on the fence about creation, faith, and life, just give this book a try. All those already strong with their faith in God, read this book, because it will help arm you with some great points of views you can use. I'd also recommend non believers to read this. If you want to argue about interpretations of stories from the Bible, then fine, but to argue if there is a God that created us all, is ridiculous. This is a great read.

Well-written challenge to skeptics. Misses on death.
The Answer offers answers to 21 important questions about the existence & nature of God, man and the universe. In the process, it presents a syncretistic philosophy that weaves Christianity with greek, eastern and modern thought. This is one of the most readable metaphysics books I have encountered. The text is peppered with well-placed, pithy quotes from prominent figures in history, science, art, and pop culture, often in unexpected places. Excellent layout and manageable chapter sizes make weighty concepts easy to digest.Skeptics will find their (atheistic) faith shaken by many of the concepts presented in The Answer; the book does a good job of exposing the shaky foundations of atheistic philosophy. To summarize The Answer's answer, life is a continuous opportunity for man to improve his soul; man is able to satisfy Justice and "reap what he has sown" through the cycles of reincarnation. However, I find this to be in contradiction with the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which clearly state that man lives only one life wherein he is completely unable to improve himself morally; to satisfy divine justice, man is wholly dependent on Christ's payment for his sin by Christ's incarnation and sacrificial death, and man is wholly dependent on Christ's actual good works done on his behalf. So, don't stop with The Answer. Look to the Bible for the ultimate answers. The Creator has revealed himself in time and space.(For additional reading on the doctrines of Scripture, I recommend the Heidelberg Catechism and the Westminister Standards.)

Provocative but Syncretistic
The authors provide intriguing insights to spiritual laws drawing on natural law. "The Answer" is a very good read and indeed compelling with regard to the logic for the "proof of God in heaven." I personally was very interested in their presentation on the concept of time with God as eternal creator being outside time and the notion of an "eternal now." As a Christian pastor, I must say that I rapidly lost interest when Chapter 7 mixed Eastern reincarnation in with traditional Christian doctrine. The Bible clearly tells us that "man is appointed to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him" (Hebrews 9:27-28).

You will believe!
The best mix of science and philosophy written in an easy to understand method for explaining the awesome complexities of life that most people never think of. It all makes sense and when you start to peel back the layers of our existence, you begin to see a pattern... a pattern that seems to be by design. An amazingly well written book for anyone who thinks they have all the answers but never bothered to investigate it more fully. This book allows you to do that. A fantastic read for believers and non believers alike.
