The texture is light and airy, which makes it really easy for roots to spread and breathe. It already comes with a good balance of nutrients, so I don't have to fertilize right away. It is a little more expensive than some other options, but the results make it worth it.

Good price point and the soil works well with mixing for a chunky soil or using it on its own.

Only trust FoxFarm anywhere near my soil!!!! I'm someone who knows nothing about gardening. I barely got into it like 6 months ago, and somehow managed to grow this. I firmly believe by having a good base of soil it set me up for success. Bought this produce twice now, and will buy it againAlthough, I do notice I have tiny bugs in my soil. I'm not sure if it's from this soil, or the FoxFarm jump start fertilizer, or what. Either way, I don't mind bc my plants are thriving, and I kinda think having some bugs in there helps to keep them healthier anyway

You should see the plant I’m growing hydroponically , soil has plenty of nutrients so I did not need to amend it until the flower stage. Also did not come with fungus nats as some report on Reddit.

Pretty decent soil. Great size of bag for indoor growers. I don’t see any fungus or anything that shouldn’t be there. It does have a lot of white thingys for water retention but I prefer less honestly. Hence one star off. Overall good dependable soil.

Add some orchid bark and/or perlite to this hefty soil and you’re got a perfect little chunky soil mix suitable to most house plants. I even used this in the garden. It’s got all the nutrients my plants need to thrive.If you don’t add something to aerate the soil, keep in mind that this has high water retention. I’ve gotten fungus and gnats on top before I started adding orchid bark. It doesn’t arrive with bugs, however, like your everyday run of the mill soil does. Great quality heavy soil that just needs a few extras to make it chunky.

10/10 hands down. My favorite potting soil besides miracle grow. This boosts my plants growth so much when I use it and it’s one of my favorite potting soils. I use it with my vegetable and herb garden and it works WONDERS.
