Traveling 1 1/2 hours to a dinner. Will this keep casseroles warm/hot when plugged into 12 volt outlet in the car?

From my experiences, the process seems to work best when I pre-heated the bag by plugging it into the wall’s outlet about 45-60 minutes prior to heading out. Then, I immediately plugged into the car’s plug-in when doing deliveries. (Without allowing the bag to cool off) The food seemed to stay warm/hot using this method for deliveries in the area, which lasted about 25-40 minutes, so I can only imagine that it should be even warmer/hotter if you’re traveling 1.5 hours.

how long does the battery last once the bag is unplugged? Also is there a way to turn it on and off so it doesn't kill battery while not using?

To turn it off, you unplug it. No battery! Also, after I unplugged mine, the bag was HOT for at least 30 minutes after being unplugged. It got hot (130 degrees) after 15 minutes. Great Bag! bought two of them.

Where can I buy the car plug, metal tag broke off the first time I used it?

Don't know how skilled or crafty you are you should be able to get a replacement 12 volt plug at a local auto parts store or electronics parts store check which one is hot which one is ground cut the wire reconnect it to a new plug or try to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help you

To be completely honest, this pizza bag is the greatest I've ever had.It accommodates an 18-inch pizza and is of good quality and durability.This bag won't make your pizza "hot" like it just came out of the oven; instead, it will only keep it "warm" and maintain it there, which is still far preferable to the pizza losing its temperature.I would predict that the temperature of the pizza will be in the "warm" to "warm-hot" range.Not at the same temperature as when you grabbed the pizza from the shop.The heat is probably not being adequately covered by the car's 12v electricity.But this pizza bag is still the best I've ever owned.

My parents live three hours away

My parents moved three hours away and miss the local pizza, which has made national lists for must try pizzas. Impressive for such a hole in the wall town in the middle of nowhere. Anywho thanks to this thing I can deliver said pizza to their house still nice and warm when I come visit. Who's the favorite son now! Well, still not me, but the pizza's great! My personal best was a six hour drive to Seattle to deliver the same pizza to a friend that used to be a local. The pizza suffers a bit in quality being heated for so long, but it's still pretty good.
