Are they heat resistant

The panels are made out of PVC Plastic so they can withstand some heat but they will start melting under extreme temperatures or when in contact with open fire.

Can they be used outdoors?

This product was designed for interior use only so we do not recommend using it outdoors. The reason behind it is that while the panels are made from PVC plastic which is waterproof, the water might get behind the panel and "push" it off the wall. You would have to secure the panels very well to make sure that will not happen. In addition to that a constant exposure to sun's UV light might make the colour fade after certain amount of time. As to how long will it take will depend exactly how much exposure to the sun does the panel have. With all that being said we have heard from some of our customers that they have managed to install these outdoors successfully so it is possible but due to the risks that are mentioned above, we can not recommend it.

Is their a error in the "About this item" section? Should it read, " each panael is 0.48m2"?

Each panel is about 4 foot by 18””approx

Are these waterproof? Would they work in a bathroom wall next to shower

Yes made of thin plastic so would be waterproof but should seal with waterproof glue/silicon where it joins to be sure. Can be tricky to fit so allow plenty of time. But results are great once done.
