Hello, KIYOSHI Luxury used to produce in Japan but decided to move its production factory in China in order to propose tea set more affordable for its customers. Quality remains the same with great quality of iron and products fully hand painted. Only the price has been reduced but I can guarantee that the Japanese spirit is still present.

Will the purple cups come back in stock?

Yes, they will come back for sure but after the Chinese New Year. It will take some time before they are available for sale.

If you fill these with hot tea, are they too hot to touch? I dont see handles

We have had hot tea in ours they were a bit hot but we were able to manage. I think you would test them to touch and if too hot wait a few minutes for them to cool to a manageable temperature.
