I recently renovated my wine cellar and needed some filler. We found this on Amazon and took a chance as we weren’t sure how big and authentic it would be. It is awesome! I am 6’ 2” and the barrel comes up to my stomach, it is full size. It also comes with markings and tags, ours came from a legit Sonoma Valley winery and is made of French Oak. I pressure washed it and then stained it to bring out the oak really well. Then I found rubber bumpers to place on top around the edge and bought a large glass round table top also on Amazon to make a great table. Doing it this way you can fill the top of the barrel with corks and it looks fantastic. The shipping was expensive but understandable as this thing weighs at least 100lbs and looks amazing. Don’t hesitate!

Barrel arrived today and is perfect. It has the exact patina I was hoping for and is in great condition. The smell of wine still persists as well.Great addition while enjoying for the golf simulator!Thank you!!!

Great product! Shipped within the time frame promised, and product is exactly as advertised. Very few marking on barrel as far as vintage or vineyard, but the year is visible on it. The aroma coming from the inside is intoxicating. Can’t wait to take a peek inside and see the staining. I’m looking forward to purchasing again for more projects. The shipping is “steep”, but in reality, if you factor total cost spent, still a decent price for the quality of a used barrel. My only advice would to remember it is a used barrel you are purchasing. Some of the photos are of new ones, so don’t get your hopes up.Saw some reviews of the shipping address being written in sharpie, but everything was peel and stick labels. Came off without any residue or resistance.

Loved this barrel as a gift for my fiancé. It was in wonderful shape, very good quality, and looked genuine. Shipping was very expensive but it came fast. My only disappointment was in the coloring of the barrel. I ordered the highest grade hoping it wouldn’t come with any large stains, which it didn’t. However, it didn’t look like it had ever been used to store whiskey in the rustic but high quality aesthetic I was hoping for. It seemed like a brand new barrel. I plan on staining it a darker color, as it is very light, but overall love this barrel!!

I love the barrel- it was exactly as I had hoped. I was surprised it had no wrapping or box- came home to a barrel on the front door step! But it only took 2-3 days after ordering to arrive. I was surprised to see our address on the side written in black permanent marker- that would have been a drag if it was a gift but turns out fine and kind of personalizes it for us. Maybe the markings were by UPS- but I'm sure the seller would take steps to avoid it if you asked in advance. I was going to put marble on top but really love the look as is. I would highly recommend if you want something authentic!

The condition is perfect! Just the right amount of aging and light staining, too. The inside is still damp! Mine came from Merry Edwards, a top flight Pinot Noir producer, so that is super cool! It came on a fedex truck as you see it so it traveled well. It was an excellent deal too, even with shipping.

I received this barrel damaged from the shipping and notified Wine Barrel creations. To my surprise they didn't pass me off to the shipping company, instead they sent me a new replacement the same day and also setup the arrangements to have the damaged barrel picked up. The new one came in a few days and was in great condition. I placed a 32" round glass table top on it and it now is displayed in my recreation room as a stand up table. I would highly recommend this barrel from Wine Barrel Creations for the price, the quality and lets not forget the great customer service I received.Thanks Again!
