Good product stopped my hammer instantly !

The unit must be pressurised to 3.5 bar to work correctly. There is a Schrader valve (same as a car tyre valve) on top of the unit to allow it to be re-pressurised, which should be done every 6 months. Mine came with a pressure of just over 2 bar so needed pumping up before use. Almost missed this information as it is written on top in text that isn't very legible.However, it was easy to fit, and once installed has worked perfectly; no hint of any pipe knocking. Very pleased with it.

Looks the part and does work to stop pipe hammer, but has to be topped up regularly.

Did not completely stop the noise

Fitted one near my Samsung washing machine and it worked. Bonus was it stopped the water hammer on all the taps with ceramic valves as well. Easy to fit if you can fit a compression joint. Very happy so far.

It seems alright so far in the boiler time will tel it does the job well

I purchased this to solve a water hammer issue on an upstairs toilet. It was fitted within 6" of the inlet point. I checked as per instructions that it was charged 》3 bar. As delivered the pressure was 4.5bar. Initially it was great. Within 2 weeks though the water hammer issue is back and getting worse daily. I've now got to remove the toilet. I'll be returning this. It's not good. 😖
