Works great once you get it working
Alpine radio added a wrinkle I had to search up a resolution for.Sw1 and sw2 (alpine) get soldered to the blue/green of PAC.Then PAC needs to be set to #7 NOT #1 for alpine...

Spendy but necessary.
I just finished installing an Atoto 8S 9” in my 2096 Dodge 2500 truck with upgraded sound system. I didn’t realize the truck had a built in amp and that I’d need a can bus to keep the steering wheel controls. After flailing about in the dark, I chose this unit to get me operational. There is a lot of help on line to get it all working. I had one weird glitch that solved itself because I couldn’t get the radio/can to power up the amp. After saying the right sweat words, it fired up. A bit of tweaking and my 17 year old truck has some amazing new tech to get me down the road. I’m quite pleased. Pretty good website as well - was very helpful.

2015 Jeep Wrangler Success
Worked well to maintain the steering wheel controls in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler aftermarket radio installation. Also had the correct adapter to fit the Jeep radio harness. Very satisfied.

A Must for Jeep JKU owners
Okay, so I'm old. Back in the day I used to move my Pioneer SuperTuner from one muscle car to another. One only needed to connect a black wire, a red wire, and four speaker wires. That's it! So when it came to replacing the really crappy factory radio in Jeep, I approached the task with the same logic. It's just a few wires to solder and wrap. I bought a double-din kit that came with the proper brackets and wiring harness installed it and nothing worked. I dug a little deeper and realized that I needed this little box and the accompanying wiring to make it work. I replaced the wrong harness with this one (the color coding on the wires matched perfectly to my aftermarket radio) , set the dial on the side to "7" representing my new Pioneer radio and it works perfectly.

More trouble than it's worth
Struggled to get this thing to work the first time. Had to disconnect the battery to work on something and now will not work again. Horn honks when trying to change volume. Waste of money
