This is a great basket to use in your offset smoker and it will last for a while.

Just what I needed for my smoker, just have to be very careful the the extremely sharp edges

I’m going to save you some time and blood with three tips.1. The inside of the diamond shaped cutouts is razor sharp. It will cut you up. Be wary.2. No instructions came with either the box or the clamps. It took me a while, probably due to lack of intelligence on my part, but I couldn’t get the box to fit right. The I realized, the bottom of the box has raised ridges. The sides go INSIDE the ridges, not on the outside.3. For the clamps, look up the you tube vid on installing lava lock clamps. These are k I miffs of those and the directions apply.Hope this saves you some time .

It was fully assembled and the description is accurate of the product. I have used it in several BBQs and I am satisfied and I would buy it again.

Item is solidly built and easy to put together, but you MUST wear gloves!!! Every edge is very sharp and I was cut at least 8 times trying to put it together. Once assembled the item performs flawlessly.

Good charcoal basket for a good price. Did not need the clamps so they are a bonus. Will use them on another project.
