What's the difference between this item and 3m dual lock 250/tb3550?

That's a solid question, the difference is that there are slightly different variations of the stem and it's density. There's also a difference in the adhesives used throughout the 3M Dual Lock. My observations are that the clear seems to hold better than the black, especially if you have to reposition it once adhered. That's all I know, hope it helps.

will this work on a bed rug truck liner?

It would but weatherproof carpet tape or an adhesive tape made for this purpose might suit you better my friend. You have to remember that two thick pieces of this will raise that area, all weather carpet tape or bedliner tape is fairly thin, and lays perfectly flat.

Super good strong stuff… highly recommend!

I have bought this many times and use it for rc car batteries to hold the battery in the car. The sticky part works well and the Velcro holds super strong!!!

High strength velcro

this is the nicest velcro system ive ever used, very sticky adhesive surface ,and when the velcro surfaces are joined together, they will not come apart easily ,very good hold

Like Velcro, but better!

I love this stuff. Mounts 2 things together live Velcro, but isn’t loud when separating and doesn’t wear out. I have this stuff mounting a fairly heavy external battery to my motorcycle helmet, and it feels sturdy and I have no fear of it getting ripped off by the wind. Adhesion is great if you properly clean the surface you’re sticking it to. A little pricey, but good stuff.

Sticks like a screw.

Adhesion is unbelievable. I ordered the most aggressive tape. It can be pulled apart but not easy. I use it for panels in a van conversion that won’t be removed constantly. This strong stuff is not for cabinet that will be opened regularly. The panels will not open unless I went off a cliff, in which case it would,Deb the least of y worries. Incredible convenient compared to latches, screws, etc..

Nothing finer

I have been using this product for years. Before Amazon I got it from the iTape store. I have over a dozen ceramic tiles attached to the walls of my RV, all by Super Lock tape. None have fallen off after 100,000 miles.

Perfect for guitar pedal board

I just mounted the dual lock on my guitar pedals so it runs perpendicular to to the dual lock I stuck on my pedal board, and it holds great. I transport my pedal board between home and church a couple times every two weeks, and it has held tight for months now - unlike the plain velcro I had to use on my old board
