Q: How long will this product last?

It is too early to tell. I have used these for about 4 months, heavy daily use. So far no sign of any significant degradation. They are very comfortable and I have not noticed any difference in terms of noise cancellation. I am very happy with them. I am confident they will last longer than the Bose originals. In my experience, the Bose originals last about 6 to 8 months and then basically crumble away.

Q: Is it softer than the original? i bought solowit ones and they are too hard so the noice cancelling won't work.

The lambskin feels soft right from new, especially after broken in and moisturized by the skin oil. From most users' feedback, the noise-cancelling is not noticeably affected.

Q: Are these ear pad cushions better than the ones made from protein leather?

There are no pads for Bose QC made of protein leather. Every other pad on the market for these headphones is made of polyurethane (PU) leather, which is a different and much lower quality material compared to protein leather. That said, real leather is vastly more durable than PU leather. However, it's thicker and somewhat less soft, so it feels different (especially when new). Real leather tends to soften and feel better in the long run though.

The measurements for the Lambskin QC35ii Earpads Cushions replacement cups for the Bose QC35II are 6cm - 4cm OR 2 1/4 - 1 1/2 in inches. Hope that helps!
