If you want fully understand what you’re buying and how to make the most of it, keep reading.……………………………………………First, these stems are awesome! The packaging is lovely, the price is great, and the stems are perfect. I use these for so many things. In addition to the ideas I’ve listed below to help other customers, I use these lavender stems with other herbs and flowers I dry myself in the sage bundles I make for smudging/smoke cleansing (photo attached). They also work well when burned as incense, for bath and body, in resin crafts, and more. I would absolutely recommend these to people, and I will order again when I run out, but you get a lot of bang for your buck with these bundles, so they will last me quite a while.………………………………………I see some complaints in other reviews by folks who clearly don’t understand much about having dried floral stems shipped, and what to expect, especially with lavender. I’ll break it down:………………………………………1. “So many buds broke off.” Lavender buds are very small and delicate. Even more so when dried. They will fall off the stems if you breathe on them wrong (kidding, but not much). These stems are subjected to a lot of movement during shipping. Buds are going to fall off. With so many stems in this package, a LOT of buds are going to fall off. This should be expected. There is no way to prevent it unless you want some chemical sealer on your stems.|||………||| WHAT TO DO: Accept that you will have a lot of loose buds, and plan to use them in creative ways. Make soap or candles! Put them in sachets for inside pillows, drawers, shoes, and linen closets. Sprinkle them in your bath or add to potpourri. Infuse your favorite skin oils with them (I add them to chamomile oil). Simmer them in water for 5 minutes, let cool, pour into a small spray bottle. Either keep refrigerated for a refreshing facial mist on hot days, or add a bit of skin safe essential oil to make a custom scented spray for body, hair, or home.……………………………………… 2. “They lost their scent.” Yeah, they’re dead. They haven’t been sprayed or soaked in artificial scents. They’re not going to smell for very long once exposed to air. (Potpourri has scent added to it, and you have to add more scent regularly to keep it smelling strong.)|||………||| WHAT TO DO: When you open the box, you’re going to get hit with the strong, heavenly scent of real lavender. (At least I did). Enjoy this moment, then get busy. You can transfer the entire contents of the box to an airtight container, but I didn’t find this step necessary. I just re-taped the shipping box. Take only the amount of stems and loose buds you need to use at that time, then seal the rest and store them in a dark, dry, cool place away from pets or children. LAVENDER IS TOXIC TO CATS. Use what you need when you need it. Just like potpourri, you will need to add a little lavender fragrance oil now and then if the scent is what you bought these for.………………………………………3. “The buds aren’t as purple as I wanted.” While they shouldn’t be brown with no/almost no purple at all, do not expect dried buds to be the vibrant purple of fresh buds or full lavender blooms. Flowers naturally change colors and often become darker when dried. (Buy a fresh bright red rose. Hang it upside down to dry for a few weeks. It will become a very dark, brownish red color.) This is just the way it is.|||…………|||WHAT TO DO: Accept it and move on.

Love the scent and that a tie bag is included to capture the inevitable fallen buds.

I would buy again it smelled amazing

We use these to freshen rooms. The scent is very nice and mild, but adds a natural scent to a bedroom0sized room. They come wrapped in newspaper, and I have learned to leave the newspaper on if you are going to put the bundle in a vase, then either fold the newspaper down gently, or leave it. If you take it off before putting the bundle in a vase, little lavender buds pop off everywhere. Other than that, these are perfectly dry, easy to use for natural deodorizing, and good quality.

Smells great! Came just like the picture!

Smaller than the photo so dry it looks terrible leaves were dropping everywhere not it looks nothing like the photos at all. Also shorter than what the photos advertise. It was messy coming out of the box. There was leaves all over the place. I think what it is is that they overdried it and because they overdried it it looks terrible. It doesn’t even have any real purple like the way the original photos have so and it’s not as big as the photos have so I think size is a zero color is a zero dryness is a -0 freshness not applicable size is terrible seriously look at my photos and compare them to the photos being advertised here. This is a terrible injustice and this needs to stop with the advertises. Show you one thing on their page and then they send you another thing in the mail. Absolutely rubbish.

Less colorful than pictured

1. The two bundles can vary in color. One bundle was vibrant purple, the other was a softer gray-ish purple.2. Open outdoors, there is going to be a lot of fall out. That’s just what happens with lavender. However, included in the package was a little sachet to pour those loose buds into! I love this! I added them to my daughter’s dresser drawer and they smell amazing!3. Fresh, beautifully dried, and overall excellent quality, all at a good price point. I would definitely recommend!
