O'Keeffe's Lip Repair Unscented Lip Balm for Dry, Cracked Lips - Stick (1 Pack) - Moisturizer for Very Dry Lips

This product is AMAZING! The first of July I got a pretty bad sunburn leaving my bottom lip cracked and peeling. For several days I was coating it with regular chapstick but nothing worked. My lip had a white coating of skin but I couldn’t remove it since it was protecting my lip while healing. It was HORRIBLE! Hard to eat, brush my teeth, drink out of cup. All the chapstick in the world wasn’t moisturizing enough for my lip to heal and for the white dead skin to naturally come off. So I bought this chapstick with the hopes that it’ll help and ITS AMAZING!!! I received this chapstick on the 8th day and applied it continuously. I started applying around 2pm. It’s non greasy which I love, no scent which is best for cracked lips, and it feels really moisturizing. I went to bed that night with it by my side. When I woke up the next morning around 10AM, I applied my morning coat and the dead skin naturally came off with application. I am SHOCKED!!! It worked wonders, so wonderful that my lip under the dead skin is actually healed!While it is still red and a little sensitive, it is HEALED! I can smile without feeling like it’ll crack, brush my teeth normally, and eat toast!This chapstick is a MUST!! Picture is my lip healed after less than 24 hour use!

We have called this the "magic lip balm" and "the good kind". Basic ingredients means it moisturizes and protects without stinging cut or chapped lips. I buy over and over because we take them everywhere (and apparently leave them everywhere) so I want one in every drawer and car and purse. Soothes and repairs as promised with no fancy fragrances to irritate sensitive skin.

I have tried MANY moisturizing lip products. This is BY FAR, the best chap sticks I have ever tried. I always get the unscented/sunscreen ones. However, I have noticed the sunscreen ones are not as good as the unscented so I use them sparingly. If you have very chapped lips, put this on at night, by morning you're golden! I always buy the 6 pack ones because I either give the unused ones to family members, or I keep one everywhere. Lol. Seriously, they're that good.

This was surprisingly more moisturizing than I expected. I used it at night and still felt a little bit of it in the morning. Not even Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask can do that for me. I bought this with the intention of using it only during the daytime since I prefer slathering on squeeze tubes at night, but I wanted to test it overnight out of curiosity. I like it more than the one in the jar (O’Keefe’s Lip Repair Night Treatment Lip Balm). The one in the jar had a weird vanilla play-doh smell. Strangely the night treatment felt more lightweight. This one in the stick is truly unscented. Thank goodness! This lip balm has a matte-like finish. I think it could be popular among men because of that. It’s not shiny or glossy. It’s only a tad sticky. It’s not oily. It’s silicone-like. I think it’s the dimethicone. It’s second on the ingredient list. The one in the jar has a slight sheen. My main issue with this lip balm is the oval shape. However, that is something I can adapt to and overlook. So far no breakouts or irritation. I’ll update my review in the future when necessary.

This is my husbands go to lip moisturizer. I would have given it a 5 star. However, very little lip balm comes in the actual stick. Pricey for the amount you get. It frustrates my husband and my pocketbook. Seems like I have to reorder frequently.

This is the best lip balm ever. It's the only one you will ever need. It puts all others to shame. It works very quickly as well on chapped lips. The best investment I ever made.
