The pictures I included are before and after about thirty minutes. I used one generous coat. There is a strong sting, and it’s especially uncomfortable if it gets on your tongue. I was prepared for the pain and don’t mind it; what makes a difference to me is that the product works.I have tried almost every lip plumper on the market, from $5 to $45. This plumper has the most noticeable and longest lasting results. From the time of initial application, my lips stayed plump for around 4 hours.If you keep applying every 5-10 minutes, you will get better results. However, when I did this, the plumper began to drip down my lips to my chin, making the skin red. It also made the skin around my lips red, which made me look like a kid who stained their face with a popsicle. I was able to cover it up with concealer lip liner in order to enjoy the effect, but I’m obviously not able to do that if I don’t plan to wear other makeup.

Actually works! My lips plumped up! I put on one coat, waited 10 minutes and put on second application. Filled in my lips really well. It does burn, but it's worth the outcome.

First off love the applicator , it’s flat ,silicone type tip which makes for easy lip lining and precise coverage..IT BURNSSSSS SOO GOOD 😊LEAVING Lips plump and flushed with color, be careful not to get it in side your mouth lol .. i used it once before makeup, then while out on the town, again be careful it’s not your average gloss , it provides such a beautiful shine and can be applied over any color making your lips pop and steal the showw !i must add tHE NEXT DAY my lips felt sooo chapped and dry . you need EXTReme lip hydration - a lip mask worked well for me and some vasaline and staying hydrated

Obviously lip plumpers never really “plump” your lips or make them bigger. They just tingle or sting a little which make your lips react to the chemicals in them. This lip product burns your lips and dries them out. I’ve had numerous people tell me after trying the product that it hurts too much. Especially if you get the gloss on the corners of your mouth or even on your tongue (which is ridiculously easy to do). Also, the applicator is a flat, plastic surface; not a brush or doe foot applicator. If you want a product that simply burns your mouth, this is the product for you. If you want a simple lip sting, this isn’t it.

It really works! It has a red pepper taste to it but I love spicy food so it doesn't bother me. The taste goes away in a few minutes anyway. I advise everyone to get the primer (the black one) and this one together they work better than any other product I've tried. I use it every day whether I'm going somewhere or not and my lips are staying bigger like they were when I was young. I love it.

Of course this would have burned or tingled but this REALLY burned! It seemed to work just fine but it hurts!!! I don’t recommend putting it on your face unless you are prepared for the pain. If you want larger lips just moisturize them and massage them to get blood flowing!

This is my 2nd purchase!I bought one in Korea and then repurchasing because it works!If you want bigger/plumper lips- this stuff does work.But it does hurt when you first put it on.One of the ingredients of this product is capsaicin (chili peppers), and so when you first put it on it stings!!!I have a high pain tolerance, so it was bearable I believe it is pretty bearable for everyone else.It only hurts in the beginning for like 10-30 seconds, and then it goes away.Then, you will have red, plump lips.It does those jobs, so I keep purchasing it!I will continue to purchase this product and recommend to everyone who believes in no pain no gain!

I have bought plumping gloss before (including when it first became a thing in the aughts) and have experienced tingle, but not enough of one for my lips to react to. When I decided to try again, I went with this (the glowy topper version) because it said "hellfire" on the packaging so I thought hey — they might actually understand what I'm looking for. Worth a shot at around 8 bucks.HOLIKA HOLIKA UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. "Hellfire" was, in fact, not an understatement. This isn't "ooh, tingly!" This is "I cut ghost peppers, accidentally rubbed my eyes, and now I might need medical intervention." I put this on 5 minutes ago and I have mild heartburn now?! I'm going to take these perfectly plumped lips and go find some Tums.A+, perfect, no notes.
