EMSCO Group Meditating Buddha Statue – Natural Granite Appearance – Made of Resin – Lightweight – 24” Height

Bought this as a companion piece for the Design Toscano Pagoda Lantern Statue Size: Large in my Japanese garden. Like that item, it's really hard to believe this is resin until you pick it up. Looks great even close up and should last a long time. There's a plug in the bottom if you need to weight it down and thankfully it is considerably large so you don't need to put a funnel in there to get the sand or pebbles in. Beautifully detailed with enough 'aging' to make it look appropriate for a Japanese garden setting. A viable alternative to concrete which would have cost me 4 times as much. This would also look great indoors.

Great size. In grey granite color, it is a bit plastic-ey close up but in a darkened pool grotto with indirect lighting surrounded with foliage, no one will ever notice. It was poorly packed (shame on U Amazon), but because it is lightweight plastic (& obviously UPS didn't stack anything on it), it arrived undamaged.

I thought I could put water in it to hold it down but it leaks.

Best price you can get for the size and after it gets weathered you can not even tell its plastic.

I would not recommend this product. The statue does look sturdy but it's merely a shell that needs to be filled with sand or water to give it weight.

Fill it with sand and it weighs like real granite too. Great addition for your oriental garden. Had another one for years and it weathers to look more like stone over time
