Perfect for our boxer with double ACL repairs
Our boxer girl tore her first ACL and had a repair 12/16. She then tore the other side 12/17. The surgery takes numerous weeks to heal from and we had to leash walk her every time she goes outside for several weeks. Since we did this once in the dead of winter with ice and snow, we decided to try to keep the dog comfortable and wait until spring for the second repair. This supplement was the reason we were able to hold off a few months for her 2nd surgery. It worked great for our girl and kept her comfortable and helped decrease her limping and she was able to actually start gently walking on the leg again while using this product. We absolutely still had to do the repair for her second ACL based on her age and her high activity level- but WOW, this product did what it states it does and is well worth the price. We are so grateful this helped her as the spring recovery time outside was so much safer for her. We keep her on this supplement daily because now that she is running again after 2 ACL repairs we definitely feel this decreases soreness after increased activity. She loves the taste too!

Third Container - Dog Still Limps
Bought this for my 90 lb Pitbull with luxating patella in both knees. He had surgery on one knee. Gone through three containers of this product, but he still limps in pain.

I find this product has made an difference in my ...
I find this product has made an difference in my elder dog's OA. Because the ingredients mix well into her food and they seem to be more absorbable than other versions of the supplements, she has a bit of a spring in her step and is not in pain. This is important for her as her liver enzymes rise when she takes NSAIDS -the only other remedy available to her and it is obvious to this owner's eye when she is in pain. The last thing I want for this long-standing loyal companion is for her to suffer the aches and pains of growing old.

Great product
My ten yr old lab has arthritis and my 4 yr. old bernese mt. dog is just recovering from double knee replacement so I have been on the hunt for a supplement that not only tastes great to the dogs but I can actually SEE results. I hate spending the money on pill pockets and not to mention when you run out and don't have time to go to the store and if your dogs are anything like mine they sniff it through the cheese/meat and can take some time before they actually EAT the pill. Wellytails is in powered form that you can either sprinkle on their food dry (which is what I do) or you can mix the powder with COLD water. It is very important to read/follow the directions for the first 3 days and then after the three days you increase for 28 days and then decrease to recommended long term amount. If this is not strictly followed then I'm sure they will have an upset tummy but I followed the directions to a T and my berner is on a single protein food because her stomach is sensitive and I had no issues with her. Both dogs have no problem jumping up on the couch, or stairs which was a major issue prior to having Wellytails and I noticed these results with in a week. My berner no longer waits to be carried up the stairs for bed time she goes up on her own now. It's a great feeling to find a product they not only don't mind eating and I have actually heard of the ingredients. I hope this was helpful.

Im a believer
This product arrived in the mail yesterday so I can not speak yet about long term results yet however what I do know is that my 60lb 2 year old pitbull/bull massiff mix has hip dysplasia And for the last 5 days she's been favoring one hind leg, she wouldn't put any weight on the unfavored leg. Last night I gave her the recommend dosage and this morning she woke up and got off the bed without me having to stand there and convince her for twenty minutes and then she walked, on all 4 legs outside! She still limped a little but she was actually bending and using the unfavored leg again !My dog loved the flavor, I put it on my hand and mixed a little water with it and she ate it right from my hand with no problem!.I love that it has red tart cherry, omega 3, glucosamine and msm in it.I will update as the next couple weeks go on, I'm a real customer who paid for this product and I feel it's important to mention that because I like so many others, I'm just on the hunt to find something that works for my dogs hip and joint pain.

I Liked the ingredients, wish there was more mg
I also tried the senior vitality for my other dog and noted in my review for that as well, that the mg listed for each nutrient is per 3 scoops so the recommended amount wasn't enough to make a difference for my dog. She has bad hip dysplasia and I really liked the tart cherry anti-inflammatory properties but again I had to use a lot in order to see a difference. This dog isn't picky and ate it just fine but my other one wasn't fond of the flavor.

gave the dog diarrhea
Now I can't attest to the health benefits or not for a pet with this product but I can say that even though I introduced it to my dog gradually as suggested it gave my dog a terrible case of the runs. And I do mean TERRIBLE. I cannot continue the use of this product unless I were to put my dog in diapers! I wonder if anyone else has had this experience. Now one might say it could be a coincidence and that something else was affecting her in this manner but since I have taken her off this supplement she seems to have gone back to normal. While I would love to improve my pet's health and mobility this is just not a livable situation.

Didn't work for my pup
I really wanted to like this product but it just didn't work for my dog. I haven't seen any improvement and I gave it a month. She liked it and would eat it fine though.
