Great lures and arrived before scheduled time. the advertising on Amazon said that it was a 10 pack, however the manufacturer has changed the quantity to 8. They sent a note, but Amazon hasn't updated the site. Just FYI.

We love Sluggos for Stripers small and large here on Lower Cape Cod...they can be used with a weighted jig head, but are most effective when fished bare, no weight, just a 3 or 4- 0 hook. With practice, an un-weighted 6" sluggo can be cast a good distance out. The action of this soft plastic lure is unique and very effective on Stripers...I keep a dozen rigged up and ready to go in the boat........D. Murray....Cape Cod, MA

This lure literally kills it everywhere from the Atlantic to pacific. No weights, just a Texas rig and some twitches and it will pull a fish out of the water if there’s one around.

Best bait ever!!!!
I have been using these baits for years and highly recommend them if you like to catch bass. It is my favorite bait. It is so versatile, you can use them weightless, Texas rigged, Carolina rigged or with a nail inserted in it. Bass absolutely can't resist it.
