How hard is the cured nail color? I've never used UV gel, is the surface "gel" like or hard like automotive paint when cured?

I’m not quite clear what your asking. But it cures hard, like nail gel usually does. I’m quite impressed with it for the price.

Do these work well with stamping plates?
