RCD fused spur
Easy to install when I wanted extra RCD protection on a fused spur. Seems to work well, and fits on a normal backbox.

I like this rcd as handy when you can't cut plug off as most companies put fixed plugs if you cut it voids warranty so you just plug in making sure you use right amperage fuse.I am qualified to sparkie and seen some really dodgy things in the past ie silver paper and bicycle brake wire as fuse which was in a house fuse box every one had to be replaced seriously. Very dangerous indeed.I like the rcd socket. Value for money looks durable normal double socket size only time will tell with performance and quality.

Needs,deep box
It arrived chipped, but as it's for a workshop I didn't return it. It replaced another rcd socket but was too deep for the existing back box which I had to change.

Unit Failure
Purchased April 2024 for protection of outside lighting circuit. Wasn’t fitted immediately. Now May 2025 and the unit has failed. It will not reset either manually or automatically. Lighting circuit checked and is perfectly OK with replacement unit. Would have expected it to last much longer. Maybe just unlucky! Will give it two stars for lasting somewhere between eleven and twelve months.
