Excellent Performance, Smart Features, and a Great Design - A Must-Have for Any Humid Space
I've been using the Midea Cube 20 Pint Dehumidifier for about a month now, and it has completely transformed my basement. Living in a humid climate, my basement was always a little musty, and I worried about mold and mildew. This dehumidifier has not only solved that problem but has also made the space feel much more comfortable. The first thing that impressed me was the design. The "Cube" concept is brilliant. Unlike traditional bulky dehumidifiers, this one is sleek and unobtrusive. The ability to stack the water bucket inside the unit when not in use is a game-changer for saving space, especially in a smaller room or during the drier months.Performance-wise, it's a powerhouse. It quickly brought the humidity level in my roughly 1,200 sq. ft. basement down to a comfortable 45-50% and maintains it effortlessly. The 20-pint capacity is perfect for this size space, and the ENERGY STAR certification is a welcome bonus, as I've seen a minimal impact on my electricity bill. What truly sets this unit apart are the smart features. The smart control is fantastic. I can monitor the humidity level and adjust settings from my phone, which is incredibly convenient. The Alexa compatibility is the icing on the cake. I love being able to say, "Alexa, turn on the basement dehumidifier," and have it spring to life. The continuous drain hose is another huge plus. I have it hooked up to a floor drain, so I never have to worry about emptying the bucket, it's a true "set it and forget it" experience. The unit is also surprisingly quiet. While you can hear it running, it's a low, consistent hum that fades into the background. It's much quieter than other dehumidifiers I've owned in the past.Overall, I can't recommend the Midea Cube 20 Pint Dehumidifier enough. It's a well-designed, efficient, and smart appliance that delivers on all its promises. If you're looking for a dehumidifier for your basement or any other large, humid space, this is an excellent investment that you won't regret. It's a 5-star product in every sense of the word.

Great Product!
I bought this dehumidifier to replace the other one that I bought (Waykar 2000 Sq. Ft) and it collects about twice the amount of water at around 72-74°F room temperature compared to the old one and is about 5-8 dB quieter when comparing the low fan setting.I have it hooked up to a condensate pump to help regulate the humidity in our living space located in the basement. It is able to keep it around 50% without having to run constantly when in "Set" mode and 50% target. It is easy to use and the app makes it easy to set automations and regulate the fan speed (low for night and high for day).I like the size of the unit especially when you want to store it and you can put the dehumidifier in the tank to reduce the height.Overall, a great purchase. Good quality, efficient, easy to use and remote access & automations through the app.

Proably Best in Higher Humidity Situations - Barely works at 50% Humidity or lower
It's heavy, seems well build...but fairly quiet even at high speed, and pushes out a lot less heat than expected. Very easy to setup and use. And it might work better at higher humidity (above 50% humidity). But I wanted to bring down in a very small room to the low 40's. And it really couldn't go much below 45%. And as soon as it went off, the humidity rose back up to 48%-49%...with no new humidity entering that room. Since the unit allows you to set the humidity down to 30%, I would think it would do a better job. It also used somewhat more watts than the listing indicated. Varied from 240-285 watts (fan on high)...which pretty much was running constantly. But at least it didn't heat up the room too much. It's essentially an "in the room" air conditioner, that accumulates moisture on it's coils (which drip and collect in the base). It cools the air across those coils, but also heats up air on the opposite set of coils. It's how it works. But it must be fairly efficient as most room air conditioners generate significantly more heat relative to cooling (if confined into a closed room).
