Rubber rain boot

Best buy in a while!
Ordered them for my husband since we live in the rainy Pacific Northwest. He has been wearing them for about a month now & he says they’re the best rain type of boots he’s had. Waterproof & very stylish.

The perfect men's rain boot
I bought a pair of these for my husband. He can wear them to work and not worry about ruining his shoes on the walk in. They're durable and stylish. It took awhile for his size to come in stock, so if you see these available, buy them!

Nice looking [rain] boots.
They look great. They’re relatively light and comfortable. (Keep in mind, they’re not hiking but “rain” boots.)I had these just over a year and wore them maybe a dozen times and I can say they DO NOT keep out water. The water somehow seeps in through the outer sole. I have to remove the sole insert to air them out. I used to do that with my sneakers. Never thought I had to do that to “rain” boots. *And no, I don’t purposely jump into puddles to test them.

Great idea, will wear occasionally but mine have a design flaw
They look very sharp and are as waterproof as i needed them to be. Bought them for casual dog walking and shorter outings in the northwest rain. Have gone through several pairs of various strala boots from tretorn(switched to bogs recently hoping for more durability) so i thought id give these a shot. A bit tight around the top of the foot as others have said but i expected as much with them being mostly solid rubber/canvas besides the laces. Cant give these 4 stars because there is a bump inside both shoes in the very back middle of the inner sole where you can see that the seam for the whole shoe is made, depending on the socks i wear this is either unnoticeable or it drives me nuts. This brand seems to make great looking casual shoes but i would never wear them for anything rugged or for all day activities. I build floating homes and have a passion for the outdoors so i always keep an eye out for durable gear, this brand has somewhat let me down in that aspect but i always keep a pair from them for casual outings these days

Perfect fit. I've work this in the rain a ...
Perfect fit. I've work this in the rain a few times and kept them on all day. I commute and walk a few miles to and from transit and had no issue with the fit or comfort. I would definitely buy another pair.

Problem with shoe...Should have worn more, now past return date. A true consumer dilemma...
I bought this shoe on Oct 4th and only wore it on rainy days (maybe 4 times until now). I only wear it out in the city, and only walk or lightly run with them. After the 4th use, I noticed something strange about them...the padding in the left boot started sliding around in my shoe (kind of like an oversized sock that wont fit your foot). I checked it out and realized that it's not glued/secure to the bottom of the shoe!!! My right boot is secure and tight on the shoe, but not glued either. The issue is when I start to walk with it on, the padding on the left shoe starts to scrunch up without any glue holding it in place, making the toes and balls of my feet exposed to the bare sole of the shoe. I can feel the rocks/pavement/cold elements on my left foot. For a $120 rain boot, this is a big deal, as it basically means the shoe is worthless unless I glue it myself to the bottom of the shoe or something. Its like as if there was nothing designed to hold it in place? It could be the case that my right shoe padding is just much more secure than the feet padding in the left shoe, but you'd imagine the quality to be the same. It could be the case that water/liquid got in the shoe somehow (condensation from the heat of my foot with the cold air from the rainy day), and them metalic/foil bottom slides around inside. In theory you could wear the boot without the padding...but then now it's noticably bigger, and has no padding whatsoever. its like a straight rubber shoe, and you'll feel all the shock from the ground.Whats worse is, I thought the shoe was fine and only wore them out on rainy days (4 to be exact)...now I regret it because I can't return them or ask for any type of support since I've owned them for so long and theres "technically" nothing wrong with them. It puts you, the consumer, in a very interesting situation: wear the shoe a ton to test out it's quality and make it nonreturnable, or never use it to keep it in good condition, but be subject to any defects after the return period passes. Probably won't be buying shoes online again...or at least with some kind of warranty, which is probably what I'll search for next...

Great stylish shoe & fit...beware of some faulty material
Overall the shoe is a great fit. I normally wear a 12 and bought theses in a 13. They fit great with a little at the toe, but that's fine by me since I don't like for my shoes to fit perfectly. I would say the size you pick is determined by what you like. The following day they arrived it rained so I was able to get some test milage out of them. Working in NY you have to walk a lot so they kept my feet dry and the insole was soft enough that I didn't get that achy feeling from walking/standing for long periods of the day. The one thing to be aware of is that one of the grommets was missing (see the first pic). I think I can live without it but it does make me feel a certain way about the care/craftsmanship of the shoe a little. The other thing to be aware of is that the tongue isn't connected all the way to the top, just about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way, so there will not be any major puddle dancing going on. The small puddles you can dance in. Other than those two things the shoe felt good and held up in the rain.

Buy size larger.
Order larger than normal. These are very tight and uncomfortable for long periods of time, but great in the rain. Just have another pair of shoes ready to change into.
