Surprisingly good quality for the price! Great colors. I wore them during my recent trip to Iceland. My feet stayed warm and dry. Very comfortable. Love them!

I ordered 1 set of these socks and liked them so much; I ordered 2 more to give as stocking stuffer type gifts. They have remarkable quality for being "as cheap as chips." I haven't been able to find the percentage of wool used anywhere nor is the sock packaging itself labeled but I can feel there is some wool in them without them being scratchy. I did ask my New Zealand husband how on earth they could be this cheap if they have wool in them. His theory is that the wool used is "dag wool," which has been cleaned and treated. I don't mind a bit as they socks fit well (size 10), are warm and toasty with patterns as cute as all get out! Go order a set!

I wanted colorful wool socks for the winter and chose these for their looks. I really like the design. I've only worn them since Christmas, so I can't speak to durability. They are comfortable--not itchy at all. While I wouldn't call them really warm, since they are really thin, they do keep my feet warm on our wood and tile floors (I don't wear shoes in the house). The one drawback, in my mind, is that they have almost zero give, so it's really hard to pull them on over my heel (I wear a size 9 x-wide shoe). As a result, I can't afford to have them shrink, so I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry. Because I have trouble getting them on my feet, I won't be buying them again, but for someone with a smaller size foot, I think they would be great.

Wonderfully warm for the brutal winter. Keep feet warm and soft. And no shrinkage after wash. Although I had to buy more later on because my sister's took my mother's socks. The best socks ever for winter.

These are my favorite hiking socks. I just spent two months hiking around Alaska and Canada and these socks were amazing. They were the perfect thickness and comfort level. My feet were never uncomfortable.

The outside of the sock looks nice. The socks are soft and not scratchy at all, which is great. But the inside of the sock is another story. They are still soft but the strings! Strings hanging out everywhere and string “loops” all over. They will catch on your fingernails. I had to be careful folding these. I’m disappointed the weave isn’t better. The inside is still soft but I can tell right away that I will have to be careful with these if I want them to last. I know you get what you pay for and these are cheap enough that if I ruin them I can replace them pretty easily. They do seem to be true to size. Overall they are okay, but if the weave had been better inside I would have given them 5 stars because they are so soft and the colors are so fun.

I love these socks. In fact I bought another set of these because they're very warm & I wear them daily now that it's getting cooler out here in Ohio. They were half off meaning they were around $8 for 5 pairs.
