Can the watch be adjusted to smaller size by removing links?

Yes but I have not done it yet it’s a little complicated so I may send the watch back in exchange for a watch that I csn just take out of the box and put on my wrist.

Is it suitable for a shower?

Waterproof, but I tend not to expose my watches to water.
