Hi Is the length of the pole 50mm?

The length of the foam is about 2 meters (6 feet) I assume you mean the diameter of the pole. It is for a standard scaffolding pole which is 50mm (2 inches) in diameter on the outside. It fits a 50mm diameter pole well. I tie it on with a couple of tie bands.

What type of polyethylene is this, hdpe or ldpe - we are using this for another application and would like to glue one wrap velcro to it?

I've glued it with a glue gun and it works fine. Tape won't stick to it. We used it to cover a fireplace edge from our toddler

Is that 50mm x14mm or 50 cm

50 cm would make it half a metre wide. It’s for 50mm or two inch outside diameter scaffold poles and has a 14mm wall thickness to protect against walking it to or hitting the pole inside.
