Worth it to try to keep the peace
I bought this to spray in the back yard of my father's new home. His new neighbor professes to use their adjoining property for a stray cat catch and release, but is actually just keeping a large colony of feral cats. I was hoping to try to use this product to keep the cats from pooping in my father's back yard, and it doesn't really work for his application.1.) This stuff requires that you re-spray once to twice a week, especially while training the cats to stay off the area.2.) This stuff smells bad to store. I had to store it outside, as it inundated the garden shed with its smell. (The smell is about what one would expect if one let a five year old try to cook in the kitchen with full access to all spices - heavy on the scent of cinnamon, citrus, mace, and clove.)3.) This stuff is more for a small problem, not a herd of 20+ feral cats that live on the other side of a fence. You will not be able to train a colony of feral cats to suddenly give up their favorite bathroom with this stuff alone. You'll need to change the landscaping to concrete pavers and no soft surfaces (gravel, astro turf, sand, dirt, lawn, etc.) as well as using this very liberally.4.) With the volume required, you will need to buy the concentrated version of this and dilute it yourself. When selecting a sprayer, take into account storage, ergonomics, and bulk/mass.All in all, this stuff works, but not with cursory nor lazy application, nor by itself. If you're using this to keep away a colony of cats, be prepared for a war, not a battle.

Seems pretty good
It seems to do ok. The first 2 days sspraying it down I had no cats at all, but after a couple days I noticed the cat came back. I have bird feeders out and that cat comes and gets one. I dont want it ro get any of the love birds that come to feed, luckly it has only got the pidgeons and ring neck doves. I just finished spraying down a heavy cover on the yard so we will see what happens. I think it needs a daily spray for a while. You will need to keep the bottle out side due to the smell. Even with it new it stinks. Thats the only reason for 4 stars.

Human repellent. Cats could care less
This smelled so awful (think garlic and ammonia) that I thought it would definitely get ride of stray cats using our garden as a litter box. Instead, the cats walked right over it like it was nothing. Our garden smelled like death for weeks, however!

Works BUT
This definitely works but it stinks up the place and lasts about 24hrs IF it doesn’t rain. You also need to get it on every inch of your yard

Works properly...if you read the directions
3/17/21: This stuff works great. All these negative reviews, people didn’t bother to read the directions. It CLEARLY STATES to use this product for 7 days straight, so that the cats get used to the smell being distinguished with that area you’re spraying. If it rains, start over.It doesn’t state anywhere on the bottle that this works instantly. Yet, there are multiple pictures on here of cats standing next to the bottle or in the sprayed area and people complaining that this product doesn’t work.People are too lazy to read these days and want instant gratification. Stick after it, and spray daily. It becomes an easy routine & guess what? IT WORKS PERFECTLY.IVE HAD NO CATS IN MY YARD SINCE. I now only spray once every 2-3 weeks and I’m good to go. Plus it has a mild cinnamon smell, which is nice
