This is my favorite purchase of 2017. I've been a faithful follower of Dennis the Prescott for a while, and his food pictures are unfairly gorgeous. He can COOK and make it look stunning and inviting. I eyed this book for a few weeks after it came out and couldn't hold off any longer, and it was the best decision. The cookbook is: well made (quality is THERE), stunningly beautiful, fun to read (I KNOW I'm not the only one who reads cookbooks for fun), written with love, AND, most importantly, the recipe diversity and quality is there.I am a decent cook. I am not bad, I am not super inventive. I can get by and eat well and feed others and we're all happy. That being said, this is a cookbook for people who love food and like making it. The recipes are foolproof (I've made several so far and they've all been outstanding). He gives plenty of tips to ensure your success, and he gives the story behind the carefully created recipes! You'll feel like he is a friend by the end of this, and who doesn't love a friend who knows food???The recipes are not super expensive, either, which I really appreciate. A lot of them don't even require a ton of ingredients or a ton of time (for most)! These are for weeknight dinners, special occasions, impressing your MIL, absolutely any occasion and there's something for everyone!Do yourself a favor and buy this ASAP and eat delicious. I am SO sold.

Best cookbook around
I frist saw Chef Dennis on Instagram and he was cooking one of is recipes, which I did as well and it was delicious. I knew I had to get his cookbook. He has pictures of all his recipes and they are easy to follow. I just love this cookbook

This is a good cookbook for the home cook that is a little adventurous.
I love it. I have easily made about 8 recipes so far. It has inspired me to make more things from scratch, like pizza dough and gnocchi. Which makes me pretty proud of myself. The only thing I will say is that because his recipes are from scratch and many of them require marinating overnight, you have to plan accordingly. Several times I thought I would make something that night but didn't really realize the prep work or marinating involved so had to change plans. And some of the recipes do have ingredients that aren't readily available, mostly in the Asian themed ones, so I simply ignored and did without and they were fine. I'm sure not as tasty as his full version, but not enough to mess it up that's for sure.

a delightful find
I rarely buy a cookbook anymore because so many recipes are available online but after looking through this one, I had to have it! I never heard of Mr Prescott, I saw the book in the new releases section of the library and scanned through it. Everything looked wonderful! I borrowed the book, read more recipes ( haven't made anything yet cause - vacation) but I felt like I wanted to make almost everything! What a great selection of recipes and yes, the photography is stunning and makes me want to make the dishes!

Love the way this recipe book is written - storybook form and the recipes are explained thoroughly. I am still experimenting on some of them. All the recipes I've tried so far have turned out delicious!

This isn't merely a recipe book. It's a book about passion for food. You will be inspired to create impressive meals and moments. This is a must-have for anybody that's in love with food photography and also with cooking good and real food! Dennis is the real deal! The man is brilliant, you want to hear what he has to say!!! (and obviously, swoon over his pictures!) I literally wanna hang this book up on my wall because it's THAT amazing!

I've owned a lot of recipe books in my life but this one is a Flavor Enthusiasts Kitchen Must Haves! Hands down its clean, whole, sustainable food made simple. I believe simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication and Dennis The Prescott delivers on all fronts. Mouth-watering visuals, creative chops and just different enough to keep you curious...top props!
