Really beautiful
It is beautiful. Much better than I expected.

The handle and the base of this phone looks like ceramic. The ad says plastic, and the phone is very very light. All logic says it has to be plastic. There must have been a recent improvement in plastic. It looks good. The dialer sticks out real far. I don't know why I imagined it much more sunken, but the pictures are correct and the protrusion gives the hand a place to rest while dialing. I bought a new phone because my old phone had a horrible speaker phone. I can hear this one. I haven't tried if for two way communications. The speaker is on the bottom and it sits on a wooden desk.There are many menu options that I don't understand. The limited instructions are in Chinese (or the like). I finally figured out how to set the time. The only thing that disappoints be about this phone is that the cord is directly wired into the head set. On the up side, the head set can be taken apart well enough to replace the cord for anyone that can solder. I wanted to unplug the cord and attach a 25 foot cord. On the upside, the headset connector won't ever go bad because it doesn't exist.
