00682 Add-On Storage Hook Accessory for HyLoft Model 625 and 651, Hammertone, 4-Pack

I have a unique issue of garage wall shelving where the rafter boards are laid flat with 2x4s (1.5"x3.5"), see Dino shelf products (discontinued) and other similar anchored wall shelves. I've looked everywhere for a right size hanger hook, from big box stores to Etsy tradecrafts but doesn't seem to exist.I don't like the idea of screwing in big nail hooks on the underside of the rafter boards since it becomes permanent. This is the only rafter hook that fits ... If you use it in reverse. The reverse side measures 3.5" exactly and snugly fits over the 2x4s, while the other end can be used as a hanger hook too.

If you have the Hyloft Overhead Storage System these is a great add on for storage of many items. They are very easy to install. Alread have a set in use.

Ordered the on a whim for my Strong Racks super capacity, garage overhead storage racks. They fit perfect and seem very durable. My grid spacing is three (3) inches. Weight capacity states 25 pounds per hook, but your mileage could be more. Only wish they came in silver, but I knew that going into it.

Updated: I contacted Amazon customer service and they helped me to resolve this. No explanation as to why I was sent a used item. As for the hooks themselves, they are fine but frankly overpriced for what they do and a little less sturdy than I expected under the weight of a bike. Without being heavier duty or having durable rubberization, these seem like they should be quite a bit cheaper.------Original review:I’m sure these hooks are fine. They’ll work with the garage rack. Minus 3 stars for Amazon sending me a clearly repackaged, used return. I’m not excited to clean duct tape residue off the hooks. Will see what Amazon customer support says and update as appropriate.

Heavy duty enough for medium weight use, but I wish the end curve was longer, as the product is loose and slips off easily when items are retrieved. Or use some tape or wire to lock it to your wore rack.

If you have any of the Hyloft storage racks, these are a "must have" since you can hang you weed eaters and other garden tools from them. I got 8 of them and need a bunch more now that I see they work so well. They are a little loose the way they mount but a small zip tie (once your sure of you placement) fixes that very quickly.

We use it for hanging plants over fence, it works great. It’s made of sturdy tough material with simple yet functional design. I’m sure will find more uses for it around house.

Used these to hang three bikes from my HyLoft shelves including a 30 lb Trek mountain bike. Works great and after a month they haven't built or given at all to the weight.
