Directions:This site has everything you need to know but it can be a bit tricky if you start having problems.The pads had worn in after my first ride and I noticed that the front brake was really stiff and not as effective.The photos show basically the issue in the design but it's easy to overcome if you just knew to adjust the hex on the elbow piece.Don't drain fluids.My braking seemed stiff on the front axle and it was because the elbow was bending too shallow causing it to shear away as it tightened.The photos have the bike upside down, so you can see the hex screw. Turning it clockwise elongated the elbow joint and closes the calipers tighter.Turning it counter clockwise turns it shallower and as the pad wares, it begins to bind away from how the cable is fed.It took a bit of adjusting until I saw that a firm squeeze wasn't binding again.Hopefully this experience helps you learn more about how to avoid the problem I ran into after one downhill, when the pads are broken in.It helps to thread out the adjuster on the brake lever so you can just tighten the brakes clamped down and then back off the adjuster to depress the calipers.*****Continued below is my original review:Not bad performance for the price.It's noticeably more responsive than the stock calipers.There was some vibration on the "custom" piece that needed some adjustments in order to get the exact fit.The only problem I foresee;It's noticeably better functioning but I think the pads are a bit smaller than what I thought it should be.Maybe there are some slightly larger replacement pads available.

This is my second pair of cable activated hydraulic brakes,,, I like the look they give to this bike,, I tried hydraulic lined brakes, with nothing but hydraulic leaks often, which lead to weak and sometimes no brakes at all.Now I have a dust collecting bleeder kit and a quart of hydraulic brake fluid,, plus worthless hydraulic lines and levers.. but now have reliable brakes on both my bikes.

The pictures they show match the scooter i have, so you woukd think its designed for it. Yeah well no, you can only fit the back tire due to the shape of the rim and even then it rubs against the rim by a good bit. As a result you'll get uneven braking, rubbing metal noises and possible damage to your rim. The front one doesn't even fit, so dont waste your time (thats why they only show the back tire) it does brake strong, but the pads last as long as a cheese. If you have a Mercane Widewheel do not buy this product, its doesn't fit, even if you see the picture of the scooter. The product is not bad, but the company is misleading and for that reason they are getting a bad review from me

I was initially hesitant to about the price of this product, especially when there were others that cost much more. The brakes were much easier to install than I expected, and after testing them out there was a noticeable difference in their stopping ability. So far so good, but only time will tell on their durability and how well they will continue to perform. Overall, I believe that this was a good decision to buy this particular brand of hydraulic brakes for my new ebike.

Great improvement over the oem cable discs that were just useless, now brakes much better and happier that my wife now has decent braking on her six three zero e bike. Have Zoom hydraulic brakes on my e bike and they are excellent, customer service from this company is also first class.

Way better than what was on bikes still has a bit of a squeak but solid brakes and super easy to install

Replaced the full mechanical brake calipers with these on my wife's ebike,stopping power is a LOT better,while not quite the performance of a full hydraulic system these are a fast ,easy, definite upgrade over mechanical, time will tell how long they hold up
