Packaging is important.
Candles are good, as advertised and best I’ve found. Seem to be longer lasting than advertised. Lightweight cardboard box containing product is flimsy but ok if Amazon delivers in a shipping box rather than a plastic bag. Candles arrived twice loose in Amazon plastic bag with box torn apart and contents a jumbled mess.Latest shipment arrived boxed instead of bagged and was fine.

These worked great for my daughter’s wedding reception. Continued burning for several hours!

Can be ten hours... But
I bought these for emergencies. Took 3 of them and put them in different holders. Then using 3 four inch clay pots upside down to support a 12 inch clay pot, also upside down, to make a warming oven. With saucer to cover the drain hole. That is more of a youtube thing. Anyway, there was a difference in burn time. I believe that the holder made the difference. The heavy brass one with just a half inch deep hole behind the JOY letters of the front, of which the candle was to back light during the holidays went out first. The wax melted all over and it went out after 7.5 hours. The other two were in glass votives. One clear with some slope to the sides, the other one was a bumpy sided red glass ones that you see a lot of. The red one lasted about 9 hours. The clear one 10 hours. The wax was completely melted and clear to the bottom for it's last 3 hours as it finished up. So, 10 hours under perfect conditions i.e. the right holder and no breezes.

great in votive holder
Arrived quickly in excellent condition. They last a good while and only a few wicks fell out so far. I tried them in votive holders and on candle plates. The ones on the plates burned a few hours and left a lot of wax on the plate. The ones in the votive holders burn about 9 hours, they burn all the wax up, you just have to dispose of the wick holder. While in the holder the wax turns to liquid and you can pour it out if you want. I have one in a holder that's been burning for two days, with time off for sleep. Highly recommend for use in votive holders.

Worst candles ever!
I've been using "Mainstays" candles from Walmart and have been happy with them. Sadly, with all of the supply chain issues, I've not been able to buy them locally.... so I ordered these. These are the worst candles I've ever used, and I'm used to Walmart candles! Issues--1. These things burn WAY TOO HOT. I put all of my votives in small glass candle holders. After about 30 minutes, the candle is almost fully melted and the glass container is too hot to touch (and too hot to leave on a wood table!). The burn time, if you keep the candle in a glass candle holder, is comparable to the Mainstays.2. Instead of molding these candles individually with a wick in each mold, these folks are making long candles in a tubular shape, cutting them into votive sizes, poking a hole in the wax and installing a wick. There is no backing sticker to keep the metal tab at the bottom of the wick from falling out... so, straighten the wick out of the box and the wick falls to the floor.3. While these candles are white-ish, they aren't very white. They're kind of a translucent off-white. The Mainstays candles are much whiter.4. These are NOT cheap. In fact, each candle costs 10 cents more than the Mainstays, and you can get them in either a 12 or 24 pack. I was able to order the Mainstays candles from Walmart online, and they delivered... so...You're supposed to ENJOY candles. These just piss me off.Returning.

Wick issue
These candles are great and burn for hours. The only issue is that the wix are not set in the candle and when you straighten the wick at the top of the candle it falls through. If there's any space underneath the candle when you put it in the votive, IE extra wax from a previous candle the wick drops down and presents a bit of an issue. I ordered another box irregardless of this issue because they burn really well.
