Good sound, plenty of volume.
Worked very well on the first try on my Orpheus hollow body bass. I expected to have to try several different locations to get good results. but that was not the case. There is no volume control on these. I will ultimately add volume and tone controls on the instrument, or control with the volume control on your amp. Signal level is higher than the conventional coil type pickups, much different sound than the coil pickups and I expect to achieve a much wider range of different sounds with the proper tone control.I thought the double stick adhesive provided for attaching the piezo elements was a little funky, but they are still firmly attached after several months. Probably not so good if you have to move them around to get the best sound. Would definitely buy again for any hollow body instrument. Would recommend adding volume and tone controls sourced elsewhere unless you are content to use the controls on your amp.

That it requires you to drill a hole on your guitar.
They worked out on my Jumbo and Classical guitars.

Great buy for the money
These worked fairly well considering what they cost. There are absolutely no instructions ..guessing there's a YouTube video out there. There's a small hole on the side of the end pin. After I've drilled the hole for the jack I use thin florist wire and feed it through the end of the guitar and attach it to the hole in the end pin while the jack is inside of the guitar. Make the wire long enough that you don't pull it through when attaching. I pull the wire through which puts the jack in place. It also allows you to set the depth of the jack by moving it back and forth to get the correct amount of the jack outside of the guitar for the washers and nuts.

Great cheap pickup for an acoustic guitar
Bought the 2 pack. Installed the first one in my 12 string. Super easy installation (I used a pair of spark plug pliers to hold the inside of the jack while tightening the outside nuts) took about 15 minutes including drilling the hole.Placement of the pads is critical to the tone you're going to get. I placed one pad directly under the bridge plate, in front of the strings. The 2nd pad I put on the bass side, behind the bridge. The third one I placed on the treble side in front of the bridge, almost under the pickguard. This resulted in a very neutral sounding tone through my amp.

Sound pick up ok, but died in 2 days.
Stop picking up after third time playing. Waste of time. Going to return both.

Its aight i guess
Its good if you're throwing them on a CHEAP guitar. Not worth on anything more than 200 bucks. Just get a different transducer at that point. Its good if you're in a tight budget though, and you can pull of the adhesive easily. It sounds thin. You oviously need to drill a hole to get the jack working

1/2" drill bit for endpin installation
The volume control is on your amp, it's hard to get your arm thru the sound hole far enough,To install the plug end.The best part is in doesn't require a batteryAnd sounds pretty good. The pickups are peel and stick.
