Finally The Grand Inquisitor Arrives!
Finally! I've been waiting on this guy for forever! He was hands-down my favorite villain in Rebels, even beating out Thrawn for me (thank you Jason Isaacs for that). Getting him in plastic form is almost like ticking off something on my bucket list. His posability is mostly top-notch, with more than 90 degree bending at the knees, elbows, and shoulders. He has those wonderful butterfly joints, and great ankle forward-rear range with rocker. The hands are horizontally hinged, which is fine for lightsaber characters. The chest armor is a little restrictive in the ab crunch forward department, but the shoulder armor is well designed and is no issue whatsoever. The leg armor is not a big problem either, as it is glued on down near the knee and is flexible enough to get out of the way while posing. The figure's paint is great, with no funky applications or stray splotches, even on his chest badge. His eyes are dark side yellow, but its definitely not on-par with Darth Maul or even the Emperor. The cape is super-wrinkly on one of mine, and on the second the cape was smooth but really crooked. The cape is a single piece that loops under the chest armor's glue spot, and I decided that it wouldn't be possible to remove it without cutting the cape. So I cut the crooked cape off and I don't regret that decision at all, even if it does show his saggy trouser seat sculpt. As for accessories he comes with only his lightsaber. The lightsaber has two small pegs instead of the enormous single peg that Fifth Brother has, and it fits easily enough in his hands. You may still have to fidget with it a little bit to get it just right, but I had no serious issues.Overall, I am thrilled to have this figure. I have waited what feels like an eternity for him (because everyone else released early) but he was worth the wait.

Wish it was the Rebel's version but there are work arounds
I'm glad to finally have the Grand Inquisitor in my collection but I hate that it's the terrible Kenobi version instead of the Rebels one. Thankfully I was able to buy a custom head for him and after making some adjustments before painting it, he's much better. My one complaint is that Hasbro is continuing to slip backwards in the articulation department. Yes the double ball neck and butterfly joints are great but single joined arm and legs?! No ab crunch or waist swivel? The Black Series is falling far behind in articulation when compared to its sibling lines like Marvel Legends, The Power Rangers Lightning Collection and the G.I. Joe Classified Series.Hasbro, DOUBLE JOINTED ELBOWS AND KNEES, BICEP SWIVELS, THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE!
