HOKAMen's Running Shoe

I was experiencing very sore feet after work and these shoes healed me! Im a nurse and I’m accustomed to working 10 12 + hours a day on my feet. I have predominantly worn asics forever as my work shoe, but my bunion had been aching and my feet were really hurting after work.8 weeks after wearing these shoes with custom orthotics and most all of my foot pain has vanished, and im not working any less. My left foot bunion is doing OK and my feet have not felt sore and achy after work in a while. I will say that for the first four weeks of breaking these shoes in I didnt love them. I felt like i was having pain under my patella, but after four weeks of getting used to the new shoes that pain went away and my knees feel just fine. I almost gave up on these shoes because of the knee discomfort. My knees usually dont give me any trouble. I stuck it out and I am glad that I did because these shoes are probably the best work shoes ive worn. I just finished a normal 10 hr shift and my feet are not sore at all. Thats amazing!!!!I hope this review will help people.

Comfortable however I personally feel like there is too much cushion.

Nice high arch. Good width. Needed size 14 due to measurements. Have held up to 7 washings. Still the most comfy tennis shoe I own.I'm going to be trying an expensive cushion in my shoe and a cheaper tennis shoe to see if I can accomplish a comfortable walking shoe to save some money.

In May of 2022, we bought a pair of Hoka that we found to be comfortable. I ordered a 2nd pair for my husband for work only shoes. He travels for work alot so we wanted a nice pair that would exclusively be worn when he travels for work. Shoes were purchased in December of 2022 as a Christmas gift. The shoes stayed in the box and unworn until June 2024. While on travel, the shoes started to squeek. It was the most annoying sound. I've read the return policy and warranty of both Amazon and Hoka and I'm disappointed. Their policies only allow for returns or replacements after 1 year after date of purchase. In my situation, I'm outside of that date allowance but truly, the shoes were bought since we liked the style and wanted to ensure that we had a backup of that same style since we know how shoes can cycle out and new styles come out so often. These shoes were expensive, close to $200. We bought a 2nd pair with the notion that something in that price range would be something that would last and be reliable. Now I'm out the money and the shoes cannot be worn. Why, you ask! The squeeking from the shoes is loud and bad. Sounds like you are walking around farting. It's embarrassing and I'm dissatisfied that neither the seller (Amazon) or manufacturers (Hoka) will help to replace the shoes. When shoes cost that much, there should be exceptions to the policies. Definitely not pleased!
