Weed, Inc.: The Truth About the Pot Lobby, THC, and the Commercial Marijuana Industry

Beware: Self-Help book
Unfortunately the book’s summary led me to believe this would be a review on the specifics of the legislation, with its pros and cons based on facts. This is no more than a self-help book with broad references (when available), making vast generalizations about the use of marijuana. I don’t blame the guy as an addict, but definitely a waste of my time. A lot of his arguments are on the basis of “there’s little or no research”, I invite you all to read “Cannabinoids and the Brain” by MIT’s Linda Parker, which references robust research. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get through the whole book; I stopped when he references the American Medical Association and how it’s way more likely they are right over a “bud tender” regarding medical marijuana. To me that was just hilarious when this whole book is about his fight against the “system” and the big powerful lobbyists, I hope you can see the irony there.

A Must-Read
Unless we have experienced THC concentrates in the past three years, we just don't know today's weed. What was once a simple plant, cannabis has inspired everything from fear to fierce loyalty. We need to keep an open mind and learn all we can about this drug which, today, bares no resemblance to a plant.

This is a MUST read by a man who understands the effects of this drug.
Well written and informative. It is well researched and the author is knowledgeable. One of the best out there on what is essentially a new and very potent drug. Well worth the read!

A Tale of Deception & Denial
Sobering read. Confirmed many of the degenerate trends I saw developing in Colorado. A major reason I left in 2018.

A "must read"
This book should be a "must read" for every parent, concerned citizen, and even those who support marijuana legalization. It exposes the truth that when we vote for "legalization" we are actually condoning commercialization. And like many commercial products, profit is the driving force. Do not be deceived that those seeking profit are really concerned about alternative medicine and relief from suffering. It exposes who is just waiting in the wings - big tobacco, and the extreme dangers, not of just a plant, but of the concentrates and edible products that are clearly being designed and marketed to our children.
