Great for strong chewers
The KONG Extreme Goodie Bone has been a revelation for me and my tough chewing dog The tough black rubber is incredibly durable, even for a heavy chewer. The holes are perfect for stuffing with peanut butter or snacks, making playtime more engaging and mentally stimulating. Its kept my dog entertained for longer and helps prevent boredom.Suitable for a medium or larger dog.

Brilliant for serial chewers
My dog, bless him, is a chewer. He's destroyed loads of toys in the past, because he seems to like taking them apart. We were getting quite tired of buying him nice toys and then seeing them in pieces on the rug about ten minutes after giving them to him. And then we found this Kong bone. They're amazing. He's a cross between a Staffie and a Lab, so he's got the strong jaws and the appetite to match his genes! But he took ages - months - to even break one bit off one of these.Interestingly, we've never used them for their intended purpose - to put treats in the ends. He's happy enough lying on the floor squelching the ends together in his mouth (and filling them with slobber and licking it back out again, to ensure we're sufficiently grossed out). It's great to see him perfectly happy, creating little creaking squeaky sounds as he squeezes it together. It seems like it's quite therapeutic to him. I'm not sure if he just doesn't want to break it because he likes the squeezing sensation or if he physically can't break it (which would surprise me given his track record of previous toys, sticks etc), but either way, one of these will last him a good six months, during which he'll lie and chew it for a good few hours a day. When he finally did break an end off from his current one, he was still perfectly happy just to focus on the other end instead. To give a better idea, he was given this just before Christmas and it's still got one squeezy end left!I can't speak for other dogs, perhaps I'm naive to how destructive others can be, but I know what mine is capable of, and taking that into consideration, this product is brilliant!

Pretty durable but quite dear considering lifespan
Bought this for my lab x when he was 10 months old as he was ripping bits off the red version. Lasted him until he went into training 6 months later. Then used by his replacement, who managed to split both knuckles ends of it (so making it easy to get treats out) So in all it lasted just over a year intact. They only had it once or twice a day for about half an hour while we were eating. Saying this it is now being used by next puppy and is great as she doesn't seem to be able to bite nay bits off it even with her sharp teeth. Will be buying another when she needs more of a challenge.

Good item, good value for money. Dogs loved them!!!
My dogs love the Kong Extreme Goodie Bone, but it didn't take Dave the Destroyer long to rip his bone in to tiny pieces. This doesn't mean that this is a bad product as my other dog Alfie, took his time and it lasted him for a long while until the destroyer chewed it into a million pieces like he did his own.I have yet to find a toy that Dave cannot completely ruin within 10 minutes and im sure if he hadn't of got hold of Alfie's Kong Extreme Goodie Bone, it would have lasted alfie a very long time. The one thing i love about the Kong Extreme Goodie Bone is the fact that you can put the chews through each end, and it takes them a long time to get them out. I like using the doggie dentastix and they fit in perfectly. The Kong Extreme Goodie Bone is great value for money. This dog toy is a great item and i would recommend and have already.

Expensive bone lasted 10 minutes.
I have this to my son's 8 month old Fox Red Labrador puppy on Christmas Day. I filled it with soft cheese. I thought there would be peace while we enjoyed dinner. I was so wrong. She demolished the cheese in under 5 minutes, then proceeded to chew the bone, testing off chunks all over. I had not envisaged getting the vacuum cleaner out on Christmas. Day to pick up the tiny rubber crumbs. This is an expensive bone which is definitely NOT worth the exorbitant price I paid.

This bone lasted 3 days before my WCS managed to chew end off.
Seemed like a good sturdy toy bone for my dog. She is 2 years old and rips everything she gets, this toy bone lasted 3 days before she managed to rip the end off. She enjoyed licking peanut butter off it but she still managed to rip it.

Actually is as tough as they claim
Have a dog that chews and shreds in minutes most toys. This bone and the cone treat toy are exceptional.Because they survive, our pet treats them like prized possessions and the holes in each end clean easily once pet has finished licking-out their favourite meat paste.
