Traditional design, inexpensive
The design of this piece of sommelier's kit has been around for decades so the basic operation is sound. The question is how long the bottle opener will last. The brittle plastic of the handles is likely to chip if dropped and the metalwork seems to be held together by quite a narrow, soft rivet. Experience suggests that an all-metal construction would be far more durable, albeit costing at least twice as much.
