Goo GoneMac-GG12 Original Surface Safe Liquid Remover, Yellow

Excellent, very effective

Following an extended stay in Portugal, the very high temperature caused the beam deflectors to become dried out, making the usual removal by warming up and peeling impossible. I used a plastic scraper to remove the plastic of the deflector from the adhesive, then Goo Gone to remove the adhesive residue. It came off so quickly I was amazed. I rinsed the headlights with plenty of soapy water to remove the ,Goo Gone afterwards.

It work well for what I wanted it for. It does smell a bit, but would use again.

The item is superb, this is my second bottle. However, with this bottle, I think they may need to revisit the seal. It says lift tab to open. The tab came away in my hand and after breaking my thumbnail trying to get it open I had to resort to using a knife then try to lift it off and boy was it stuck. It's the 21st century, and we still can't get something as simple as a seal on a bottle. This is just a heads-up on what to expect. I think everyone should know, and to suppress this is shameful.

Excellent for removing the sticky label residue from Jars etc.Works quickly, suggest wearing rubber gloves when using as it is quite strong.The smell is quite strong but not excessive.The bottle has lasted for ages as you don't need to use a lot per application so gives great value for money.Make sure it's compatible with the material you're cleaning

Didn’t get off what I wanted, might be okay on some things just not on my expandable foam stain.

Once I figured out the best amount of time to leave it on for, made for easy work removing the glue from adhesive tiles that where left on top of ceramic kitchen tiles. The only negative being the smell, make sure you are in a ventilated area if possible.

I looked at all the reviews on this product and from them I gleaned this would be a fantastic way to remove sticky labels from our DVD and CD cases. It has worked well on most plastic surfaces I have tried. However, the older cd labels are much harder to remove, as it seems difficult for this product to soak into the layers. It requires an awful lot of elbow grease and numerous applications, hence the 4 stars given. A little goes a long way, wear gloves and use a piece of lint free cloth (old t shirt material is best on larger areas). The smell is pleasant, but you can detect the chemicals, so I tend to go outside or in the garage; not offensive just strong. Top tip:- just prick a small hole in the plastic covering (on the top of the bottle) with a skewer, that way you can drip the product in a measured way, for example, onto a cotton bud for finer work.
