NECA Hunger Games Mockingjay Pin

(Written by Chris Thompson's Daughter, Mika!) I love this badge! I saw it in another shop for £9.99, and couldn't find it any cheeper any where! Then I found this badge seller on Amazon, and was a bit suspicious at first, but it arrived and is the official movie badge! This is great value for money - the badge seems sturdy and is made out of metal. The mocking jay REALLY resembles the badge in the film, and all of my friends (who love "The Hunger Games") commented on it, seeing what it was clearly!!! This badge is lovely, and a must have for an fan of "The Hunger Games"!

I am a big fan of The Hunger Games books and the film and this product is great!It looks pretty much exactly the same as Katniss' in the movie so awesome if you want it for cosplaying or just as a fan.I looked far and wide for a pin that was the correct size/shape and price and this met all requirements.It feels very durable and as if it as no intention of breaking.The colour looks silver in the picture, but it's actually a very nice worn gold colour, like in the film.The detail is lovely and overall it looks great, not cheap or tacky. I was very happy to pay what I did for it.

I read all 3 Hunger Games books in about 2 weeks and as soon as I put Mockingjay down, I knew I had to get this pin. I went out looking and everywhere I looked it was all like £6-8 or something, and I saw this and was like omg and I had to buy it right then. It is a good size for the pin and is about a 1cm bigger than a 50p coin. It isn't the colour it is in the picture either, like in the picture its sorta silver. Its a shiny bright gold which is nice. Also, instead of being a broach, it has a pin on back, so its so much more easier to use. Also, as its getting more popular, the price range is going up like I bought it for £3 something and now like a week later, its £5 something, so BUY IT NOW, NO DOUBTS. Because I have no regrets.

This I got for my daughter . I thought it was a little pricey and it isn’t particularly sturdy as it keeps falling off her jumper . So a little disappointed ! It looks the part but it could just be a little stronger .

I'm a huge fan of the books and the film, and I'm aware that the pin is meant to look a bit old as it makes it more 'authentic', but my pin looks nothing like the picture. It arrived looking very discoloured, and the arrow head is bent. It looks almost as if someone's used it before, not brand new at all. I am quite disappointed considering what I paid for the product. I haven't even taken it out of the packaging yet as I can't decide whether or not to send it back. My advice is don't buy this product, or at least not from this seller. There is another of the same pin being sold by a different seller, which although it is a bit more expensive, might be better quality?

The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because I was a bit dissapointed on, first the package, I chose to buy this one instead of others because of the cardboard that said "original prop of the hunger games..." so it would have a better presentation for gifts but it was obviously printed and its not nice, and the second thing is that ON THE BACK it says "made in china" and I would have preferred having it just blank. But overall nice product, good price and it arrived perfectly.

Bought this pin for my daughter as she is a huge Hunger Games fan, it came very quickly and was just what I wanted. I would have preferred one with a brooch type fitting but these seem to be hard to find. This one has a push badge type fitting which is fine, it's not been worn out and about yet so can't comment on how secure the clasp is. The quality of the brooch itself seems good with a nice "aged" finish. My daughter was very pleased with it.

If there was an option for no stars I would have picked that one, item arrived In a timely manner however that was the one and only positive. It looks very cheap and plasticky however the kick in the teeth was the back of the badge was faulty and the pin was bent, so they don’t stay together, tried to stick it onto my lanyard and with a sec the back fell off and rolled under my washing machine making the pin an absolute waste money. Very disappointed 😑
