Comfortable, Reusable, and Effective For Reducing Background Noise
I had previously used foam earplugs to block out the background noises and help me sleep better. After trying these wax earplugs, I won't be going back to foam.Pros:- The wax nature of these earplugs means they can be easily shaped to fit your ear canal. One size fits all ears.- They are far more comfortable then foam earplugs.- Relative to foam earplugs, I find these can block out noise more effectively.- Depending on how clean your ears are, they can be reused for a very long time.Cons:- The first time you use them you will need to strip the fluff off the outside. The fluff is means to be removed before inserting into your ear. A very minor inconvenience.- The wax is initially hard but warms up with your body temperature. When you first put them they need a few minutes to become more malleable and comfortable.- They are not suitable for using at music concerts to reduce ear damage and tinnitus. They will block the music in such a way that it loses its definition and it just sounds muffled.Overall, these are excellent earplugs to either help you sleep or reduce noise when you need to concentrate.

Good
Great ear plugs and comfortable. I always found the foam ones would come out but as these are wax, they stay out!Definitely keep the noise out!

Life-changing sleep for city dwellers & snorer survivors
I’ve been using ear plugs nightly for years — not by choice, but out of necessity. Between living in a busy city (hello, 2 a.m. cars and sirens) and sharing a bed with a committed snorer, uninterrupted sleep without ear plugs simply isn’t an option. After trying countless types — foam, silicone, reusable plugs — I always come back to Quies Wax Ear Plugs. Honestly, they’re the only ones that work for me. The noise-blocking is in a league of its own: they don’t just muffle sound, they dull it to silence. With other plugs, I’d still hear street noise or the nasal symphony next to me, but with Quies, it's like I’m in a quiet countryside.Tip: They only work if you use them properly. This isn’t a “pop them in and forget” type of product — and that’s actually a good thing. You need to remove the cotton wool, then warm them slightly in your hands to soften the wax before gently shaping and fitting them to your ears. Once in, they form a custom seal that’s both comfortable and incredibly effective. Some people might find the wax texture unusual at first, especially if you’re used to foam plugs. But once you get used to them, there’s no going back. They don’t put pressure on your ear canal like foam can, and they stay in place all night without discomfort.Bottom line: if you’re serious about getting a good night’s sleep in a noisy environment, Quies Wax Ear Plugs are worth every penny.

The fur they covered in just lets in all the noise
Unless I’m doing something wrong these don’t work. The fur, while comfortable, just lets noise in. It is difficult to tell the difference between having them in and not having them in. I have used all sorts of ear plugs over the years. Normal wax ones. Foam ones. Music ones. Motorcycle ones. Shooting ones. Maybe I’m doing it wrong but they don’t do anything as far as I can tell.

Very effective and comfy after warming in your hand
These are great if you know how to use them. Remove the cotton wool then roll them in the palm of your hand. It softens the wax ear plug then you can shape it to fit your ear canal. It gets more soft as you place in the canal and you can gentle manipulate it to completely seal your ear. These are great for areas with loud noises so I use them on aeroplanes in particular. I also use them on speedboat transfers on holiday and in coffee shops when I am working on my laptop. You'd be surprised how often you are grateful for them. Wax earplugs (after being warmed) are by far the most effective way to block out noise. If you live alone, you may wish to avoid them at night, after all, you need to hear the smoke or carbon monoxide alarms if they ever go off. Just a warning to those living alone
