Excellent. We tried another product first from a supermarket but it did not work even after multiple applications. So we tried this and it worked first time for our daughter. Got rid of them all. Delighted with this product.

I never write reviews, mostly because it is an entirely subjective exercise. This, however, I made an exception for.Let me give you some context. I am not a worn out parent fighting the good fight against these pesky blood suckers. Dearest Reader, I almost wish I was. No, instead I am a 22 year old university student. And I HAD nits.I caught them on a night out. The last big blow out before final exams. Firstly- I was in denial. I have quite sensitive skin see Dearest Reader, and I had just changed shampoo and conditioner. I put the excess itching down to that.After changing my shampoo and conditioner for the next wash, and I was still wanting to claw my scalp off, I put it down to stress. Final exams see Dearest Reader, and you never know what tricks your body will play on you when you’re stressed.It all changed about 3am a week later. I had woken up and my scalp felt like it was on fire. I ordered the metal nit comb from here, and the next day I set to it, expecting just to find either lumps of dandruff or clumps of my scalp coming out.But oh no, what was this? A live nit. IN MY HAIR.I hit the bottom Dearest Reader, I cannot lie to you. I was smack bang in the middle of a set of very important exams and I broke down. I was defeated. I am 22, single, jobless, in nearly £50K of debt from uni fees and now riddled with headlice. I wanted to chop all of my extremely long, thick and VERY curly hair off and never go outside ever again.But I picked myself up. Trawled through Mumsnet (a scary place for someone who has not got children. I salute you all). Found this as the most recommended weapon against them.So I used it and immediately the itching stopped. Incredible I thought, but also too easy. I have always been an easy target for them see Dearest Reader, as my thick curls provide a safe haven for them.Oh but... it was that easy. I used it again a week after and still- nothing.Now I am using the metal comb too, I should make you aware of that. But anything I pulled out the first time I used the product was dead. I haven’t pulled anything out since- despite going through it for an hour.So- one downside, but I refuse to deduct a mark because I’m so pleased to be back at 22, single, jobless and nearly £50K in debt but NIT FREE. This did leave my hair very greasy. Maybe because I used too much, maybe because I left it in for 40 minutes... who knows. So use it over the weekend as it took me 3 washes to make sure my hair was back to its dry and grease free self.Good luck out there. And remember- someone always has it worse off than you.

Finally we are nit free!If I could give this 100 stars I would!We tried so many products that didn’t work. Not only that, they were so unpleasant to use, with over powering fragrances and greasy, oily textures, all of which are sensory hell for an autistic child.So after no success and the trauma of the other treatments, I am SO RELIEVED to have finally found something that actually works!!The spray is so easy to use, the fragrance is lovely and not too strong, the texture is oily but it stays in the hair and doesn’t drip making combing very easy. The comb included works well and my son much preferred it but I did use a nitty gritty comb on the first treatment too, just to be sure. However I only used the NitWits comb on the second treatment but thankfully found nothing (at last!) after a thorough comb through.Pro tip for washing out is to work the hair into a lather with shampoo BEFORE wetting it, and THEN rinse it out really well. This should prevent the hair being greasy after the treatment.Highly recommend!

When there’s a little rumour of nits in class then I use this on the whole family. It’s very easy to use, their hair actually feels wonderful soft after and it is effective.

This product was really easy to use and the smell is quite pleasant and not instantly identifiable like some other treatments.However - unless you have severely dry hair you will not get away with just one shampoo following treatment. The product is oil based and leaves hair extremely greasy so you wouldn't want to leave the house like that. I've washed my granddaughters' twice and they wouldn't let me do it a third time. Luckily we'll have time to shampoo again before school on Monday.Another point to watch out for: take care not to allow any of the spray onto a hard floor because the oil it contains will make the surface dangerously slippery.These points should definitely be included in the instructions. That said, I woukd definitely buy thus priduct again.

We are FINALLY nit-free!We all got hugs from my step-daughter, who is 8.My oldest daughter (not the 8 year old) has additional needs and is really not a fan of anybody touching her hair, so treating her for “bugs” was so difficult because of this.I tried treating her with the conditioner trick, other brands of treatment and nothing worked.I got this as a last-ditch attempt of getting rid of them, otherwise it would have been a Drs visit to see if they could help.It was so easy to apply!! I absolutely saturated her hair in it, it didn’t smell unpleasant at all either. I used almost an entire bottle on her hair. A bit overkill, but on reflection, I don’t think so because IT WORKED.I also needed to treat my hair because I’d caught a couple from her and also couldn’t get rid - it was a never ending cycle.Our entire house is nit-free. FINALLY.This stuff is brilliant value for money, it worked so well and I would highly recommend it to anybody.Thank you so much!

Best I've ever used on my children, the spray is greasy, so it stops the critters moving and easy to spot them. It kills them too, so if you don't get them all from the comb you know their dead.I get this on a subscription now as it works every time, so save a little on the price.One spray bottle can easily do 3 children's heads.
