I have spent a lot on art supplies, not proud of it. This was, hands down, overwhelming! (in a GREAT way!) WHY, YOU ASK, because for the price...I was in shock, still am. I have spent $70 dollars on a crap wood eisel, this Eisel is sturdy and accommodates Massive size for canvas. Then you get this lovely wooden box eisel that is smart in construction. As if that is not enough for the price, you get lovely brush sets for water color, acrylic, and oil. Paints galore for oil, acrylic, and water color 🥴 with unbelievable metallic too. BUT that is not all!! Multiple canvases (black and white), water color paper, utility knife, palettes disposable, plastic, and wood, pencil, eraser, case, palette knives, and a color wheel...My head is spinning! They thought of everything! The way it is packaged, I was ready to sing Happy Birthday to ME! (Obviously, not my B-Day, but YEAH ME!) I feel Blessed!

What a fantastic set of art supplies! The wooden table top easel is of high quality and even has a storage drawer. I was amazed when I opened the zipper case to examine the stand up easel, again quality I never expected for such a low price. Best of all are the three sets was paints and brushes for acrylic, watercolor and gouache . Wow, you would pay more for just the nice sets of brushes. You will be sorry if you miss this special price. I will have plenty of supplies for our Michigan winter.

This is a such a great value. I was blown away by the quality as well. My son is really blossoming as an artist and he was thrilled to receive this. The brushes are high quality. You will want to buy a storage tote or bin to keep all of the goodies organized in but that’s a cheap add on! Very pleased with this!

This is an absolute whopper of a paint set. You won't realize just how heavy 22 lbs is until you deal with this package. If you give it as a gift, the recipient will think you've bought them a flatbox piece of furniture or an unassembled giant dollhouse or something. It's really that gigantic and heavy. Your roll of giftwrap will not wrap this in any dimension in one take.That aside, Meeden does make quality paint sets, which I recommend without reservation, as someone who has spent many thousands of dollars of art supplies over the years. And before writing my review, I went and started individually pricing the components of this set, all ready to declare what a bargain the price was for the set. Except ... I didn't arrive at where I thought I would. I can't proclaim this set the bargain of a lifetime compared to the individual components, which are already well priced. And what's more, Amazon sells many well great value Meeden sets, some which include the easel, which is the pricier item in this set.I do recommend Meeden sets, but depending on what you're looking for, check out the 142 piece set, which, at the time of this review, is about half the price of this set. Or fill your cart with the individual items you actually want. You may discover that this set isn't your best fit.However, if you place value in not having to think about it at all, or if you are buying it for an artist and don't know what they want, then there's value in just having everything and anything and not having to think. And if that's what you want, you can't go wrong with this set. It has absolutely everything and the quality is great. Just be prepared to double up on your heart medicine if you need to carry this or wrap it. Because it's a giant.

I bought this for my daughter and when she and I saw all that was included, we were blown away! She is so excited to begin her journey in painting, and I can't wait to see what she does with this awesome paint set!

Review of the MEEDEN All-tech Painting Set, [2022 Release] Aluminum & Tabletop Wood Easel, Deluxe Edition 96-Color Paints, 30-Piece Paint Brushes, Canvas and More Painting Supplies for Acrylic Oil Watercolor GouacheI have to begin with their packaging. The design of the package, in my opinion, is quite good; it makes you really feel like you got something nice. It’s heavy, 22 lbs for this set, it’s brightly colored in primary colors, tightly packed and even several items individually packed inside. I keep closing the box back up just for the feel of opening it and looking inside. This would make a wonderful gift for an aspiring artist.The oils and acrylics are very usable, step above student, what I would call artist grade paint. I like their paints and I am a professional artist. They are not quite as saturated as some professional paint I’ve used, but they can be used by professionals on a budget. The paints are marked for safety, pigments, transparency and lightfastness. They use blends to form HUE versions of higher price single pigment colors, such as their Prussian blue is a blend of PB15 and PV23 and not true Prussian Blue pigment. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation. Saturation of pigments and paint density are both good. The oils and acrylics are a medium heavy body type.Set comes with three nice brush sets one each for the watercolor/ Gouache, oils, and acrylics, which is nice. The quality of these is quite good. The only downside is an aesthetic choice they made to use matte ferules on the brushes, these allow staining with some of the paints. I don’t think it will affect their durability.There are two types of easels in the set. I was a bit worried about the usability of the wooden one. There is no top support for a canvas, it just leans on the raised back, which leans on a single stick tucked into a slot. It turns out to be surprisingly stable and easy to use. With the aluminum one, I’m not too happy with the bottom support for the canvas. You slide a couple of holes over a couple of bolts and count on the weight of the canvas pushing down to keep it in the slot. It works, but I’d rather it could be screwed into place. Again, it does work and setup is not too difficult. Overall on the easels, it’s impressive there are two, one for standing and one for sitting and using and the standing easel comes with a case!For someone looking to try various techniques and mediums, this is an ideal gift or purchase. You would need to add some form of brush solvent for the oil paint (turpentine, or mineral spirits or one of the modern odorless solvents or oil methods) and some medium. Acrylics, watercolors and Gouache are ready to use straight out of the set, just add water.The watercolor paper works great, the canvas board works great. Both of these are above average, the watercolor paper is 100% cotton and seems well made, the canvas board is made with an MDF core.I like this set a lot. The Meeden art supplies are quite nice. I’m attaching a photo of a watercolor done with the Meeden watercolor on the paper from the set and an acrylic done on one of the canvas boards.
