Perfect original replacement
Given it 4 stars as its a bit pricey for a toilet seat but this is an original ideal standard alto loo seat and cover, which our toilet is so it fitted perfectly, just like the old one.

Updated. Not so good upgrade to the standard seat
Easy to install and much nicer to close than a standard seat. I replaced all the seats in my house, but not all purchased from Amazon.Do be careful when installing to ensure the brackets fit and are spaced so there is no movement of the seat. If it’s not quite right the seat can crack. This has happened twice now. But one was replaced fee of charge.I feel they are rather expensive as it’s only the brackets that are different between the soft close and standard.*** update 2021 **These break very easily so. Or worth the money. I’ve now had to replace them all with an alternative, which was cheaper. See my other reviews to find out.

Top Quality and Fits Perfectly
This was a replacement for a broken toilet seat. I looked online and found a cheaper one and then as always, I read reviews. The reviews were not good. I found the perfect replacement which is made by Ideal Standard.It came very well packaged with complete instructions for fitting even with a small tool. It was easy to fit, and I am very happy with the quality. I am so glad that I bought the proper one and not a cheaper copy.
